Default 3.03 OE-C VS Devhook???

Well first things first - its been a LONG time since i've been to the forums here. Had a firmware that wasnt able to load homebrew.

That said, I am going to downgrade tomorrow night but i have one question :

What is the big diffrence between 3.03 OE-C the newest Devhook?

My needs are only running emulators, PS1 games and my current UMD collection. If a version of Devhook will allow that on a 1.5 PSP i would rather not even bother with 3.03 OE-C for the time being.

Peace, Hefe

P.S. Wow - its been SO long i feel a bit like a noob again. :P

3.03 OE-C is the firmware to have! I had 1.5 since the beginning and I took the jump to the custom firmware and you can not beat it. Has recovery mode to save from possible bricks and I have used it a few times with great results. Dark_AleX has it to a science so there is no worries, just follow directions
Good Luck

in 3.03 OE-C
u get all the 1.5 homebrew capabilities
and the 3.03 official sstuff without devhook
ps1 emulator built in and full speed
full screen vids

edit

since u want ps1 games u have to update to 3.03 OE-C
because devhook doesnt run them

I wouldnt call the firmware golden. I'd call it Diamond. and the PSP is the Ring.

PSP = Ring

Flash = Diamond.

Together they make people happy.
