and booting up normal PSP games using a homebrew program, helps w/ slowdown while playing normal PSP games???

for example,
i recently rented MC3 and love it to death. the only issue i have with that game (and i don't mind the loading) is that it has some major slowdown issues because of the crappy frame-rate R* programed in with the game. from the time i first raced my first race, i've desperately wished that there was a way to somehow help improve the frame rate. while doing this would not necessarily help the frame rate issue, it might help speed up the game, thus helping the responsiveness in the controls. with the normal running frame rate (which is i think 20fps?), the accuracy with which the game controls are badly hindered, which detracts from the games fun-factor and adds major frustration when turning corners, maneuvering around cars/traffic, etc.. is there any chance that loading the game with the clock speed set to 333Mhz will help improve or compensate for the low frame rate issues? if so, please kindly direct me towards the best homebrew program that can do this! thank you very much in advance for your advice and help, it is greatly appreciated

there is a loader which can up the clock speed on whatever game you wish, but to clarify, that's whatever game you wish to load from the memory stick - the loader is a loader for pirated games, and therefore is a taboo on these forums (read the piracy policy in my sig).

there is no legit/homebrew way of doing this (yet) to my knowledge...

- oh, and don't ask for the loader

However there was a beta version of a program BASED off the WAB loader that allegedly changed the clock speed for UMD games as well and DID NOT contain any MS loading functionality. I wonder what ever came of it... ?

but even if that case wouldnt be illegal for alter code? and if not does it work

thanx for the heads up guys! i thought it was ok to talk about such loaders as long as one didn't release the where abouts of their location on the net?! if anyone wants to talk through AIM about all of this, let me know. thanx again
