Well, i got my iPod Nano 4gb fried, dont really know how but its dead.
so i took it apart and looked at its NAND, so thats what i want to do.
the NANDs are:
they are 2gb each, i want to solder them to the nand in the MS Duo i got or to a SD card, either to make an array and get 5 gb in the MS or make just a 2 gb ms or a 4 gb.Code:Samsung 528 K9W8G08U1M PCB0 CAF864HC
same with the SD make a 2 gb sd or a 4 gb sd.
problem is i cant find MS duo specifications, the ones on sony site are non license and they are lacking some crucial information aobut the nand itself.
aobut the sd cards i googled and found that those nands K9W8G08U1M are used in some SD cards, now, can i make an array? i mean solder them them some how in parallel or in row, how will the controller adress the memory?
i mean i got a 32 mb card [sd] if i replace the nand will it recognize it?
on another subject
the psp has NAND flash? doesnt it?
can i replace its nand with the ones i got? and making flash0 and flash1 2gb?
i dont think it gives me anything yet its interesting...
i want to order the Double Extension cable the SD to MS converter
i will appriciate any help =)
