I just got burnout dominator, and the music is pure garbage in that game. i remember seeing somewhere that it is possible to play your own music off the memstick while playing games, i can't remember what the homebrew program was for that. I have 3.10oea1 if it makes any difference.
this site has been nothing but helpful since the start, any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Yea I think they needed add a few more Avril Lavigne songs.

I'm not sure abut this cause I never tried it, but search http://dl.qj.net/Gaming-Consoles-PSP/catid/106 for an MP3 module, then put it in the seplugins folder, and add it in your game.txt.
