what's the deal? I've never seen this before. I'm running the newest ver. of 5.00 m33, btw.

Did you adjust the Opening_Plugin.rco gameboot time?

Either that or your gameboot is too short so it loops.

fixed it. I was using a custom opening plugin without knowing it and just replacing the gameboot. thanks for the heads up.

however, my current gameboot is black (the ps2 psp opening), but is semi transparent all the way through (my red bg color shows through, making what should be black a maroonish color). is there any way to make it so it's not transparent at all?

It may be an incompatible gameboot, try another one, and if the background still shows through partially then all I can suggest is to re-install 5.00 M33.

Or didn't you flash the gameboot right?

I assume he used the Recovery Menu and activated Flash0 on USB, so he couldn't have done it wrong, unless on purpose.
