am i the only one that updated to gen-c and had no problems? all my drivers work, i havent tryed ALL my games but all that are on my ms work just fine. i did not get a semi brick after flashing. internet works just fine (altho i dont have a protected connection to test) should i be concerned about something unseen?

The only problems that were out there are from initial install. You shouldn't have any issues if C is running good.

their is a few extra folders that are empty in the flash0, safe to erase? the version.txt is all mest up to, their is no breaks in the lines, in other words everything just runs together instead of haveing the first line then the second line below it and so on

I've been reading the GEN forums. From what I gather the version.txt looking jacked up is part of the reason the 5.51 games are playable. I can't be for sure, poor translations.

Do you really need to have a tidy flash0? OCD or just cautious?

maby a little ocd. i have had problems in the past(not really relavent to today) with extra folders in flash0 and not being able to download games off the pss. about the version.txt, really? damn i went and dumped 5.50 and replaced the version.txt with the dumped one. o well, i dont have any of the new games anyway. i guess i can always revert to downgrading and running the installer again

Gen-C works flawlessly for me.
