Right now i'm using the emulator that goes by the name of something like Snes9xtyl. The problem i have with it is that it doesn't emulate the games at 100% and there are always graphical errors. Before you tell me that i have to play around with the settings, rest assured, i did for a very long time and nothing has been solved. I've played around with the frame rate, sound card, overclocking..., pretty much everything that can be configured. Oh and also the sound is perfect at all either.
When i'm playing a game such as super metroid, i know for a fact that it does not emulate the game at 100% despite at what frame rate i play at.
Another game i noticed slow downs after a slight change in frame rate is bahamut lagoon. Every time i want to feed my dragons i have to change the frame rate to make it smooth, yet it still isn't at 100% speed. But after i get out of the feeding screen the game lags because i changed to frame rate, which means i have to change it back to make it at 100%.
I mean... when i try to play gba games, the emulator for that is like near perfect. It emulates pretty much all games at 100% speed, and has very little sound defects. In fact, the program actually runs better than snes9x. I"m surprised because i thought running bigger games would take much more memory up and may slow down gameplay, but i was (maybe) wrong. A lot of the gba games i play are way bigger than snes games but the snes emulator still is slower, and i find that strange.
So now i want to ask: Is there any other snes emulators for the psp that can emulate both gameplay and sound perfectly? Maybe there's a new version of snes9xtyl that has improved greatly? I couldn't find any, atleast with google i couldn't.
