I haven't really touched to much of the psp stuff, or video games in months "life is hell", so I am out of the loop for a lot of things right now.
My psp 2000 "darth vader edition" is on 5.00 m33-6. I don't actually know what my psp 1000 is on, but I had it on a later version. I believe it was 5.50 Gen-D3.
I did this because for some strange reason when I upgraded to 5.50 my saves got "corrupted" so i just kept one psp on one version and the other on the older version. Did they ever fix that?
I know the latest is 6.37 me-6 fix2, but I've been hearing you don't want to upgrade from that if you are on 5.00 m33-6 because you might lose "something" in the process.
I mainly want to do this because I can't run some of the newer games. I have read somewhere that something called Prome-4 would handle new games for me, but again, I don't know.
Main issue, I want to upgrade my PSPs to the latest CFW, while still having all my old save files.
Also, I recently acquired another psp 3000. I don't know what the motherboard is, it is a standard black psp, It is on the official 6.35 firmware right now. It was on an earlier version when it was bought. I don't know which however, I want to know if anything can be done to that one.
Thank you for your help. :)
