Who here would rather have the PSP 1.5 version with NO GTA and the homebrew or...
Who here would rather have The PSP 2.0 version WITH GTA and a good amount of homebrew that is growing every few days when a new eboot loader comes out?

Anyone else get this? Its pissing me off, fanjita i hope its fixed in the new version. Can somone tell me how to fix this?

I've never understood the big fuss over GTA, I really tried to get into it but just couldn't. I just think it's awful. The only parts that I think any good are the radio stations on Vice City.

Give me Bomberman, Sonic, Mario, Championship Manager or Streets Of Rage 2 any day.

it may depend on what file, u r trying to load, unless u r just loading lua itself..

FYI, FileAssist v0.01 will work, the rest won't (yet).

Some have managed to fix this by just using the USER_LUA directory from the v0.6 loader. Alternatively, just try rebooting a few times, it should work.

i use mine to play sonic ,it does save and if u die u can load the game agen.but as soon as i turn off my psp the save file has gone.any ideas? Could it be my rom?

That should be pretty much all you need to do now, assuming that you're building under PSPSDK. For loader 0.7, the semaphoring during malloc calls and thread management isn't great, so you might want to avoid too many concurrent thread creates / mallocs.

If you want to send me your app to test, I'll be happy to do so. If it doesn't work, it would be useful if you can share the source code, too, so I can eliminate the problem for other apps as well.

-PSPRadio, PSPChess, PSPPDA (all kernel-mode)
-SmashGPSP (unknown crash)
-Sudoku (crashes while loading, currently a mystery)

Squarez 0.8 (plain - no wifi) works, 0.8.1+ don't.

P.S: great work on all the loaders i have had it since Eboot Loader 3 and your progress between them is amazing! and only in a few days

Hey guys, the EBOOT Loader is a really great thing in times of GTA ^^ Keep up the good work, buddy!

I don't think kernel mode will be available in 2.0 for awhile, the only way I see getting kernel mode is cracking the encryption key, and that won't happen anytime soon; and when it does happen, sony will release a new firmware with a new encryption key.

Uhm no, some guy said that wipeout runs better at 333 mhz i'm not gonna be illegal, have a memstick of only 32 mb and no money to buy a bigger one. It's really just to load that program that increases the mhz usage of the psp, not everybody is like you! :twisted:

Yep, I've started on 0.8, added a few stability fixes last night. Had a go at clean exit back to the PSP shell, but the couple of simple strategies I tried didn't work.

0.8 might be a little longer in coming out than the previous few releases, there are lots of things I want to get in there, and a lot of the current challenges are pretty tough.

I'm also taking a little break from coding the loader and trying to improve some of the available info - look for an easily-updated, easy-to-refer-to webpage with all the current EBOOT compatibility status in the near future.

Plus, I want to experiment a bit with kernel cracking and perhaps 2.50 access.

So, lots of stuff on my plate at the moment. :-)

sounds like your busy! any new games work with it. games like PSP gba v1.1 are being asked about here, mabye if you have the time could u please try to fix it?

does anyone knows of a music app that works on 2.0 that allows you to select music anywhere off the phone it only has to play mp3's it just that I have a sony erricson phone that uses a memory stick but it stores the music in a different file area and the psp dosnt detect it and I would like to be able to play the music on my psp but still have the ability to play it on my phone and 2 copies of a song is just a waste of space

No problem. i had it on my psp already anyway, it didnt take long to find the link anyway. :D

with the file assisant how do you get it to move the files because whenever I try moving the songs its says move error and dosnt do aything or somtimes makes a folder with the same name as the song do you know what Im doing wrong ps does this use flash before I boot it it give some warning about suspisious access if it does how danderoug is this compared to other flash devices?

I'd like to fix SmashGPSP and PSPGBA, they're really next on the hitlist of specific apps to look at.

I should be getting a 2nd PSP some time soon, hopefully playing with 1.5 will give some insight as to what's going wrong there.

the 61alpha is definitely not working
it's strange bcoz i'v gotten everything else on the list to work, including those some reported problems.

I think all we need working is File Assistant to launch eboots, with sound. And being able to hold while we need to do something than getting it back to normal. I could test it and risk my PSP, because i'm bored.

doesnt file Assistant 0.1 work?
