i have the same problem. right after i click go to my photo folder in the psp it freezes.

EDIT: {fixed}hey fanjita i got your patch on your site and i replaced the aaa.png with the ******** and i went into CMD prompt and did touch run_l.tif already, but it still freezes right after i get into photo on the psp.{fixed}

EDIT: {FIXED ALSO}ok so i got ******** into it, and did touch run_l.tif and i can go into PHOTO and EBOOT LOADER starts up. I choose the uo_snes9x and then it takes me to either choose EBOOT.PBP or my ROM folder, and i click on EBOOT.PBP and it loads a little then it still turns off after it says something (try 1....try 2...try 3...try 4)
so i'm back where i started.

-last line says "Initialise BSS at line ............something something"{FIXED}

ok i got it working now. I had the wrong version of UO snes9x. check your version if you have that problem i was having.

Yeah I tried doing this as well but it just comes up 'action not found' or something. :neutral:

As for the patch, the first two times I tried it, my PSP froze up, but since then it's been fine.

If you want some way to donate and help the cause, you could consider using paypal (fanjita @ fanjita.org). :icon_wink

Seriously, I could really use a 2nd PSP to help with development (especially to mess around with ideas for kernel mode, for which I really need to use v1.5), and right now there's no way I can justify the expense. As little as $1 or $2 is still a step forward.

Even just regular clicking on my website ads would help, and doesn't cost anything.

I don't like appealing like this (heaven forbid I should get associated with Yoshi and friends) but it would certainly make development an awful lot easier.

you have done a fantastic job with your eboot loader. i waited until snes was better supported and with your release of v0.5, and with a lot of hesitation i upgraded to 2.0 and it works as prommised. keep up the good work. i cant afford to send you $ but i can and will go to your website daily for updates and click on the advertisements.

p.s. your latest file, the stability patch did not work for me, as soon as i tried to view the picture icons my psp froze and to get out of it i have to flip the battery. i hope one of your next versions will support snes9xtyl-0.2c gives me kernel error yet.

If your PSP is freezing as soon as you open the photo folder, then the file times are probably wrong on the images. Make sure you follow the instructions in the README for the patch, and 'touch' the .TIF file.

Mine froze the first couple of times I used the patch, but works like a dream now.
