I have my folders set up like that also, and I renamed my roms also (EX "SONICDRIFT.GG")
But the roms still do not appear in the selection list... any idea why?

Sounds like a stupid question, but your chosing eboot 0.3 in the photo folder yeah?
And once the loader is running, it should go like this;
ms0:/psp/game/SMS :
Then click on eboot, what for some writing and stuff to flash up, then 'X' to start programme.
Your ROM's list should then come up, highlight the one you want, then press 'O'.
haha yeah, it tells you you need 0.3 to run SMS in 0.6 if you try to load SMS :p
(BTW I had this same problem when I was on 1.5)
U tried a shorter name.
I recall in a PSP-SMS help thread once some guy got it working when the name was under 8 Charaters. [eg: SOND.SMS]
Other then that i suggest trying other versions of SMS :(
I have a class in 20 minutes to get to right now, but I'll try other versions whne I get back. I have other roms in there under 8chars ("SONIC.GG") but I'll test other things out in a few. (BLAH at midterms :()
