it seems that some of the homebrews 'malfunction'
like Marvinhockey and Eswan emulator (the newest one)
they run pretty fine but it presses random buttons on its own
and repeatedly comes back to the 'menu' screen
(this didnt happen in 0.85)
for now i prefer the 0.85 since i have no use for the wifi :(...
now RIN works for me in 0.9, but PSP Media Center doesn't play anything in 0.9 (in 0.8.5 it works fine)
I've been running 2.00 from with this exploit to run homebrew but now my PSP thinks it's a 1.00! And I have to upgrade to run some of the games. Has anyone else had this using the exploit and am I safe to use GTA III (Euro) to update my firmware back to 2.0 and still run the fanjita eboot loader?

That happens when you're half way thru the downgrading process. Are you sure you didn'y load the downgrade tiff at some point?Zitat:

sorry if this is somewhere in a forum but have tried and failed to find anything. I have downgraded to v1.5 but all I want to do now is play PSP games. I have connected the PSP to my PC and transferred the game in ISO file format say Virtual Tennis for example but when I look on my PSP, I cannot find it or play it. Can someone tell me what I need to download / install to be able to play this.... THANK YOU!!!

You don't really need to use USER_LUA any more, it's probably best to run with the latest full LUA Player that works for you (0.15 would be best, but I think 0.14 works for more people). Just copy your apps into the 'Applications' folder of whichever LUA player you're using.Zitat:

If you have 1.5 the EBOOT Loader doesn't concern you. You do not need it, because it is a program for running homebrew on 2.0 PSP's ONLY. Almost all homebrew here is already converted with KXploit, so all you will need to do is place it in the GAME folder of your PSP.

I need to re-blow my firmware as my machine is confused (says 1.0 but is a 2.0) can I safely use the GTAIII (Euro) 2.0 update and still access use the overflow hack to get this eboot loader to work? or is GTAIII's firmware fixed in someway to stop the overflow tiff hack from working?

I just want to say that you all are AWESOME!!!
I just barely picked up my PSP after Christmas and had been contemplating if I should go through with all the mumbo-jumbo on downgrading and then *wham!* I find the EBOOT loader 0.9!
I was running 1.52 firmware on the ol' PSP and couldn't find for the life of me a plain 2.0 update, but I found it here.
After updating my firmware, I IMMEDIATELY installed the EBOOT loader onto the :icon_sad: 32 meg stick :icon_sad that came with my PSP and then installed DOOM.
If you all could only see the look in my eyes as I played the first 2 levels...
I felt like a kid again, playing on our old 486.
I just want to say thanks to you all who have worked so diligently (i think i spelt that wrong) on making all these roms and eboots available and taking the time to do what most people could not even IMAGINE to do this stuff...coding and editing...I wish i knew how cuz i would be there with you doing exactly what it is that you do.
If I could make ONE suggestion on a game to make into an EBOOT... Shadow Warrior by ID and 3D Games... That game was a big hit back in the day also along with Heretic and Duke Nukem.
Anywho, looking forward to the New and Improved EBOOTs to arrise in the '06.
