*Official* PSP 2.00 Working Homebrew Discussion
===========THIS THREAD IS NO LONGER UPDATED BY MYSELF, AS I AM BUSY FOR OTHER THINGS! PLEASE CHECK OUT FANJITAS LIST, WHICH IS POSTED FURTHER DOWN============
This is the guide of homebrew that do and do not work using EBOOT Loader 0.85 for the PSP 2.0 Firmware.(Latest Version Released On: 11/21/05)
^^^This thread is currently being updated with links to all working homebrew. Please be patient as it undergoes changes. Due to the fact that some programs only have certain versions that work, the link may go to an incompatible version, so please let me know if i link to a wrong version, thanx.^^^
Version 0.8: http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-b...,0,0,0,40,1725
Version 0.85:
**Having problems with 0.8?? If so check out Fanjita's thread here with suggestions and a patch: Problems with v0.8? Check here for patch **
Here is a 0.8 L_08.bin patch at his site here: http://www.fanjita.org/psp
===Just to clear things up, the loader itself is made by Fanjita, and he is the one who updates it, and maintains everything. I have nothing to do with the actual development of it, and just try and keep this thread up to date===
***This thread will now be updated 2-3 times a day, please be patient, and help contribute by testing programs, and letting us know what works, and what doesnt.***
***Important Note: If you have Anti-Virus software, your anti-virus software will say this is a virus, since it contains the file overflow.tif. This is a overflow.tif which is used for this and does NOT contain a virus.***
***Important Note 2: There are several versions of EBOOT Loader as well as individual homebrew apps. Some versions may work, and others may not. If the version is not specially noted, then most likely all versions work.***

Quite a lot of emulators aren't kernel-mode (e.g. NesterJ) but sadly most of them still don't work.
I've been told that the Sega Master System & Game Gear emulator works perfectly, but I haven't yet tested it myself.
Thanks for testing and maintaining this list, I'm far too busy working on the loader itself to go through all the available EBOOTs to check what's working :)

Nice work, mods please make this sticky
I hope some of the homebrew developers make kernel-mode-free versions of their stuff now.

Interesting.
I used the source code for Ghost In The Matrix to rebuild it using the latest version of PSPSDK, and it ran fine.
I'll contact the author to see if he'll release an update. It's probably going to be worthwhile for other homebrew authors to try recompiling - that may be all that it takes to make some applications run on 2.0.

Yes, homebrew on 2.0 is advancing! Good job Team Overload! Keep up the good work! And yes, does NesterJ work.

Well, it loads up, but cannot see any rom files, placed the .nes rom in the same directory as nester, not sure if his was the correct place.

Must be due to kernel library, has anyone got a link to source code that works, so I can see how to make my helloworld load.

hmm, well, its going forward, but the good news is when all the emulators/games you can run on the 1.50,works on 2.0..that is good news.
and if there will be any premade EBOOTs for the 2.0,then that woud be exelent news.
but untill then, its going forward, nothing more.

download that, then put it in PSP-GAME-UPDATE (all in caps), and launch it from the same place where u launch homebrew.

Oh, so this team made an EBOOT that launches other EBOOTs from the Game folder right? Guess IGN has to shove 'homebrew will never run on 2.00' right back up their [butt].

is there any chance of getting an iso loader to work?, just to make sure i understand, any homebrew that has a kernal mode/error conflict deosn't work and has to be re-built/or made so it deosn't access that certain part of the system?
