try holding the power button up for 10 seconds. this resets the psp (but i think this is in the psp's manual somewhere).
btw: if you read the eloader readme it states not to use the home button in homebrew. you should use R1+L1+Start for a short time to go back to eloader, but that doesnt work on my eloader (at least in most homebrew apps).
instead it turns the psp off.
k u no u put the psp file in the root then when i do that it says if i wanna replace the current psp file should i?
Im sorry sorry for being such a noob but where do I extract the file. It says to do it to the MP Root but when I did and loaded it it just sat there then it turned off.
not the MP_ROOT, just the "root". Paste it right in the space next to the PSP and MP_ROOT folders, that is the root.
Is my GTA ruined though?

Ok so I'm a 2.6 user and I was ecstatic to find out about Fanjita getting homebrew and emulation to work on it. I tried tonight to get it to work on my 2.6 and I had the same problem a lot of you have been having, with the screen going blank and then the PSP shutting down. I finally got it to work though, so here's what I did. Basically follow Timbo400's guide, except when you get to the part about unzipping the SNES emulator files to "PSP\Games\SNESEMU" make sure that you copy and paste only the files contained in the emulator's folder, and not copy the actual folder over to that directory. In other words, unzip the folder "uo_Snes9x_002y32" to your desktop and then open the folder that was unzipped out of it. Copy all of the files in that folder (Only the files, not the folder too), and paste them to "PSP\Games\SNESEMU". Then make the rom folder and put the roms in it just like the guide says and follow the rest of the guide. The waiting 30 seconds at the load confirm screen like Adam19 said worked for me as well. I know that all this is stated already in Timbo400's guide and Adam19's post, but I know that it took me a bit to figure it out, so perhaps if anyone didn't understand at first and they had the same problem that could help them too. It made sense after I re read the guide though, so hopefully this will help restate what's already known in a different way. Just thought it may help, it worked for me.
