Okay, I have the eLoader099 and fw2.7.1
When I go to the photomenu on my PSP and open the eLoader folder then the PSP freezes.

Can anyone help me, what should I do to make it work?

i have tried a few times to download homebrewed games http://noobz.eu/content/gta_working.html, and every time i go to open them, i get a corrupted data error. i am running Eloader .99 on the standard 2.0 firmware. Am i doing something wrong? or are they actually corrupted?

So are you saying eloader wont work on 2.71 cause im having a shyte load of trouble. and I've dont everything. AND NO IM NOT DOWNGRADING to much trouble and risk of brickin if you F*** up. They should make a Auto Downgrader then I'll consisder.

There was a time when so called "auto" downgraders were popular because old downgraders required you to dump firmware from a 1.5 PSP.

The latest downgraders (2.71 and above) only require you to have the 1.5 update eboot which is very accessible. Once downgraded, you can load custom firmware which is the easiest way to have access to homebrew and play 2.00+ games with ease.

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY DOWNGRADED 2.71 TO 1.50 I WAS SO SCARED I WAS GONNA FAWK UP BUT I GOT IT. SAD THING IS I DIDNT COPY MY DATA SO ALL GAMES I MUST PLAY AGIAN. . . AND MAN I HAVE LIKE 13. but i can always download save files.

Tat Custom FW looks very complicated! im afraid to try. So I will just go back to 2.60 and my eloader.99 The games I have tha tneeds 2.71 is Mortal Combat and Ys and i beat both 100% already so i probly have no need to play them LOL but not i know how to down grade so if i do play then i can just keep going back. and yea call me dumb but i not rich and my job sucks so if i brick my psp i wont be just simply bying a new one its gonna take a while to get new one even at the new price. and even then they all are probly 3.40+ Thanks guys

I have a 1.5 psp and I have snes, nes , and genesis emulators, I can't figure out how to put the pc engine emu on my psp when unziped it has more folders than the others and I'm not sure what to drag over.......guide?

Just drag them over like normal, or, read the readme. It should have one.

You have a TA-082 or TA-086, and the downgrader you are trying to use does not work for those.

Srry becouse im not specilly specific but i need help to quit the downgrader, is it just to cut the power or what? No chanse to brick it then?


EDIT: I SOLVED IT, I TOOK I RISK AND CUT THE POWER, BUT IT ALL WOKING FINE NOW! THX FOR THE HELP GUYS :P

i have a psp 2.71 with eloader and everytime i play a GBA rom with a GBA emulator a black screen appears and says that the application has crashed and a whole buch of letters and numbers show. i used to run GBA roms with out crashes and now its f'd.
how can i avoid the crashes?
and what is wrong?

That 'bunch of letters and numbers' contain the info we need to help you. What's the exact message?

well i have a problem too...my psp ver is 2.6 and i followed the instructions from the first page, but i cant get it to work...once gta:lcs loads, i pause the game, go to load game, the eloader gta beta pic pops up, so i load it, then it says "all unsaved progress....blah, blah" i wait a little and i proceed with the loading and then i'm back in gta again in the same place...what am i doing wrong...:Argh:

but i thought that to downgrade, u need someone with a 1.5 psp and i dont know anyone with one of those...and i have no idea what a custom firmware is...

goto www.noobz.eu website for the downloader for your PSP

you simply download the 1.50 offical firmware after downloading there downgrader and follow the instructions, after downgraded you upgrade to 3.52 M33 then use the M33 4 update and update again 3.71 M33 via Sony's firmware flashing software using 3.71 M33 upgrader

you need 3.52 firmware and 3.71 firmware from sony, qj keeps a collection, 3.71 from sony

that is basicaly it, sound hard but not that hard, after every step just search this forum site for instruction installing cfw for 3.52 and 3.71 after downgrading to 1.5 and don't skipp and AC power in all times and bat fully charged all times
