Just another question about the iso's, are you not able to play iso's on the psp if you have 2.6 firmware?
or is there something i need to run to make these work?
sorry new to all this.
I've run the 2.6 eloader hack and it works great, ta
No, you can't and hopefully never will :)
mine just turns black.. and shuts off after i select the emulator.. it does this for all the other homebrew i have tried :(
ahh it loaded fine now..
BUT the roms didnt shot up =/
where exactly do you put the rom folder and what do you name it?..in the games folder or in the emulator's foldeR?
Check the links in my sig i made a few walkthroughs on where to put ROMsZitat:

Quick question: I understand everything up to where to get the ROMS, maybe I'm a newb (which I am). However, is there a certain site to get good ROMS that won't pop-up with the ever so delightful porn? Or a bunch of cruddy non-downloading. -.-
Edit: Read more of this thread and found that it dosn't alow you too give ROM addresses.
Mine is still lagging even after I set it to 333mhz, anyone know how to fix this?
have you tried raising the frameskips to 3 or 4Zitat:

How do i do that mate?
Well if your playing a SNES ROM whilst in game push your analog stick up and you should see your frameskips going upZitat:

Cheers mate that's a lot better. Still not perfect mind but I expect that's normal. Any other tricks of the trade to get the games working smoother?Zitat:

The only ones that really work are the 333mhz and raising the frameskipsZitat:

um, yeah..i know this has been anwered probly more than once..
but, i'm not wading threw 50 pages of stuff.
I know theres not much to do to get the emu working better. (it keeps not working, then shutting off on me). But, is there anything i could do to make it maybe, have a better chance of working right?. I was playing it for a while today, and it was working fine, then i go to switch games, and it freezes. Now it won't load anymore. i been sitting here restarting it ovr and over again for about an hour now, maybe longer.
:(
So, when I choose the eloader, it goes black and then after a minute my PSP shuts off. Is there anything I can do? Any advice?
EDIT: oops, it's actually the emulator that doesn't load, but after reading the first page it seems I should just keep trying. Off I go!
Here's another Update on my Directions. Download em Here. Oh and if you have problem's loading the Program, Try waiting 15-30 seconds. It always works when i wait 15-30 seconds after clicking the load button. Then wait another 15-30 seconds after you Are at the Load up screen on the Eboot Loader. It has a higher probability of working if you wait longer after loading.
Heyas all,
I followed the first guide here. I have all the files setup in the correct directories as it stated. Now when I load up GTA, it never goes into the game, it just loads eLoader. Not such a bad thing I guess. I can even see the emulator in the list (only app right now).
When I hit (X) to load it up, it just hangs then crashes.
Any ideas?
Thanks for all the wonderous things that you help us do!
Ok, to fix the auto load problem just go into your PSP memcard using your computer, and drag a GTA savefile out of the SAVEDATA folder, then put it back in.Zitat:
Zitat von Laeys
As for the crashing, we all have this problem, it is because the eLoader is a beta, it will be fixed in new eLoaders that will come out.
I'm, using Homer's RIN 1.2 and Snes9x emulators on my PSP 1.6, and they work perfectly.
But when i save it says it's saving, but it doesn't!
What can my problem be? :(
Is this state save or just normal in game save?Zitat:
Zitat von Kalasj
just a normal in-game save.
I've tried your link to the topic where it's explained but i don't understand **** of it. :'(
First and formost brilliant FAQ, but as always with me and technology something has to go wrong.
I've done everything you have said in you're FAQ step by step and tried every single suggestion that I could find in this thread but to no avail, here is my problem :
I start up my psp after putting a snes emulator and a rom into the psp\game folder; GTA:LC starts up and it starts loading up the game and about half way through loading the game it loads the emulator (funny as on you're FAQS it says to load the emu from the game's load page) so I run the emu and a message comes up saying something like 'Memory card is corrupt" (Please excuse my lack of precision on what the message was but it comes up and dissapears very fast) and on the menu where I suppose the rom is supposed to be choosed from there is only three little dots "..." at the top of the page.
I've tried loading it from in game, waiting 25 secondes before pressing ok for loading the E loader, Ive tried formatting the memory card and starting over but nothing seems to work.
Could somebody please help ?
where do i get the snes roms?
Sorry we are not allowed to give out links to where you get ROMsZitat:

Have you tried pressing triangle at that page? At which type of file is the ROM?Zitat:

SWC doesn't work on snes_9x, i'm using SMC files.
here's how i do it, and it runs perfect (except for saving)

Yes I tired pressing triangle but that did not work, and I am also using SMC roms. And in reply to you're screen shots do you think it would solve my problem if I set up my files like you ? And what is that "RIN" folder for ?
can you give like site names at least because i cant seem to find any good onesZitat:

No sorryZitat:

Zitat von j_dawg469
Well, i don't have any problems (except saving) with homebrew, so i would try it. ;)Zitat:

The RIN folder is of a GB/GBC emulator, but you should ignore that folder. ;)

this is the thread fot the RiN Homer Edition, or how we call it ;d
I actually found out after all that topic searching and head scratching I installed the wrong snes emulater :s .
Hi guys,
I did check most threads but there are a hell of a lot of posts so i'll ask here. I have the eboot loader from Fanjita (awesome guy), a PSP version 2.5 and the Snes emulator that was recommended on this site. I have only loaded one rom so far (street fighter 2 turbo) and it works fine although a little slow (even when on 333MHz). However, the main problem I have is not being able to exit the rom. Obviously the home button doesn't work and i've tried all sorts of button combinations without any success.
Is there any way to exit the rom and return to the eboot loader or in fact any other way of exiting the rom short of turning the power off?
Thanks in advance.

hello guys~ i've got a problem~
i successfully load SNES EMULATOR and enjoyed my games~
however, i fail to quit game from the SNES EMULATOR ~
i've tried pressing "home"/ "select and start" together or even tried "R+L+home"
but all fails~
my psp will just hang if i do any each of the action.
so, my question is, how can i quit the game from the SNES EMULATOR without my psp hanging?
thank you veru much
at the moment there is no proper way of exiting, you can only hold up your power slider for 10 secs until your psp switches off and restartZitat:
Zitat von ruby
thanks !Zitat:
Zitat von biggup1234
but will my psp be easily damage in this way?
Nope. Basically, you're just completely shutting down the PSP when you do that versus a quick tap of the power switch which only puts the unit in sleep-mode.Zitat:
