I've seen a couple of users requesting a download link for the working scummvm version. Keep in mind that this is an old version, but newer ones don't seem to work with eLoader so far.

I've uploaded it to Rapidshare, here's the link:

Can anyone confirm that this actually works?! I haven't heard anything about it earlier, but of course it would be cool to run SCUMMVM on 2.01+

I don't want to be a sceptic, but right now I am though..

Ok well i got the scummvm Emu working running 2.5 FW now to try a game

In the Official GTA Working EBOOT report thread you can find people who have had success playind Monkey Island 2. http://forums.qj.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=167

I also have played MI2. The only thing is that, currently, saving games seems broken.

Some people have reported that the last version (0.8.1) randomly works. This one I uploaded is a very rough and old version, but always works, at least to my knowledge.

UPDATE

Just tested the savegame and loadgame and they both work although they are quite dodgy hope this cheers people up :icon_smil

p.s. i mean dodgy as in when i went to the savegame in monkeyisland where you name the savegame it kept automatically typing ?????????????? so i had to press save before it made to many. Then when i went to load game i went to press saveslot 1 where i had saved it, and it kept jumping to saveslot 0 so i had to click on saveslot 9 down the list and then press on saveslot 1 which was called ????????????????????????? ? and it loaded where i had saved it. Perfect kind of lol well atleast it works :icon_smil

Oh it also takes like 10 secs to save the game and about 10 secs to load the game, i thought it had froze when i did it but it was just slow

Ah, SCUMMVM boots, but Flight of The Amazon Queen crashed my PSP (EU 2.01).

Well, no luck for me. I don't have any other games to try with than the ones on the SCUMMVM site either. I'm glad it works for the rest of you though.

The newest release is 0.8.1, this Beta is a very old and buggy release. I wouldnt bother with it. The ScummVM developers and Fanjita will get it working in time.

Well, the problem is I don't know, and if I did I don't know if I can say since you are ment ot pay for the likes of Monkey Island.

Oh, and *don't* try to select Language, for whatever reason you might, beacuse it'll crash your PSP.

edit: no, it didn't work, i'll just try some more times, but i'm not sure if that will help
does anyone have an idea why it isn't working like it should? the snes-emu is working fine for me, so it shouldn't be a problem with the eloader...
edit2: just wondering... has ANYBODY got it to work with 2.6 or is that a general problem?
