Lua working on 2.60

I just did it. I just got lua 0.14 working on psp 2.60 100% of the time without the snes emulator.

This has only been tested with the patched version on brown ale relased by fanjita minutes ago!!

I suggest you try this with that.

Insallation Process:

1. Make sure the patched version of brown ale is on your psp.
2. Replace your game folder with the one just downloaded.
3. Start up the eloader and load pang.
4. Once pang has loaded exit it. (L+R+Start)
5. Then load lua

THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON 2.60

umm yea we know another way also but hope i can get it to work 100% also without loading a diffrent game=-)

I tried it the way you said then i deleted pang and lua is working fine without it :D

no. that is the only thing that load;s it for some odd reason.

i dont think so.. i can now load the luaplayer without pang loaded prior in my FW2.5

try adding clearscreen=N under luaplayer in the config file. I am running luaplayer 0.16 on US 2.6 without having to load snes first now!

and if u like dgen check out the dgen 1.30 thread it really does work!

It doesnt work using the GTA loader on 2.0 (I've changed methods because I find the GTA loader smoother over the tiff exploit, its also got a lot of potential and I know I'm gonna upgrade eventually).

That's odd...it must have something to do with it loading the images from the specified romdisk folder. That's what seperates Pang from a lot of games, it takes the images directly from a specified path.

Lua missing script

I am having the same problem, opening lua and says missing script file, and then it freezes after it tried to close. Where might i find the script file?

This worked! Thank you, I have tried every other method of getting this to work with no success. This method worked first try. I guess I really need to read the howto for the config file.
