There is no information about this at the moment, but I would guess that people are working on it.
Both the original version and this new-updated version
(Maybe they could help eachother to perfect one single version of the emulator.)
But don´t expect any speed improvment untill a couple of months.
For now I recomend that you let GTA autoload the eLoader so that you can use
the Save/Load state function.
When a game has loaded, make a save right at the beginning.
The next time you want to run the game, you simply load the disk, and then
press Load state, right after.
This takes it that you ONLY use the save as a "fast-start" utility
and never when your playing a game.
There is ways to use the natural load/save function in games that support
it. I´ll see to it that I update the guide with info on this later on.
good idea!
i think i did try to load a game but it didnt work!!!
ill give it another go though,
maybe i made a schoolboy error and accidently saved by acident.
I get a corrupted file downloading PSPUAE v.0.41.1 from http://www.amigaclub.nl/UAE_041_EBOOT.rar
Could anyone rehost the file ?
TIA
/Edit
nvm, 3rd dl attempt worked ...
my god thank you sooo much for this.
Does this mean pspUAE is (kinda) back in development now? I hope Rik is intending on bringing us more great updates... (in his own time of course!)
top top work. Finally, i can use the best computer ever on my psp. ;)
I've actually tried it now... mmmm.. SWOS :D
Gauntlet 2 is running nicely, as is IK+.
SWOS requires sound off, but is still playable.
Wipe Out is *very* playable, providing you can force it to load witht the right ADFs.
New Zealand Story wasnt so hot... :(
Bloodwych would be awesome (the speed is great!) but for the mouse not working on the d-pad (?!) and the fact that when mapping keys it seems to multi-trigger the buttons a lot...
still - it's already my favourite emulator out there - and hats off (and probably even a donation or two) from me to anyone who continues its development!
The D-pad should work as mouse... just make sure you´ve set it up correct in the options.
AND don´t set mouse to both the D-pad and the stick... since they will cancel
eachother out, leaving only the stick working as the mouse.
Set the stick to Joy0 to get the mouse working on the D-pad.
Try only to tap the button if you´ve set it to some other key function - as Space, perhaps.
Nothing else you can do about that at the moment.
Thanks for the tip re: mouse settings, thinking about it thats exactly what i had to do earlier with the joystick input!
yeah, i tried just tapping, but when playing (my favourite RPG) Bloodwych, the slightest tap would see you rotating too far, or jumping forward too many spaces! thankfully there's on-screen buttons to tap with the pointer to move, but i wouldnt like doing that later on in the game when you need to be able to move around pretty sharpish!Zitat:

Do you really need to use the 'latest config' files with Biere d'Alsace? I'd be surprised if that works well.
Probably not... I´ll fix that.
I guess the new eLoader removes the old cfg-file anyway.
