Tack som kollade...
Hi chaps. I cannot for the life of me run PSPUAE. I've tried various configurations (shown below) and still no joy. Can anyone shed any light? I have a very early PSP and I'm wondering if that it the problem. Could provoke some interesting development if so.
BTW: I'm not a noob! I am a software engineer so I know I've done everything right!
PSP 1001 w/2.60 fw
GTA
Tried Brown Ale, Alsace and Bock
I have tried a kick.rom from two different sources and renamed it KICK.ROM and kick.rom.
Had the two latest copies of PSPUAE
Tried each of the EBOOTS supplied in every possible file location
Every combination of the above.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I get the black screen (with nothing else on it at all)
ELoader works becuase I can run other HBrew. Also I have tried with auto load on GTA and no furhter HBrew on my stick.
Any suggestions?
Thanks chaps. If I get this working I will write a full guide on my site and link to. Thanks again.
Mate im sending you a PM in a min and that should get you going ;)
Edit: About the PM I sent you. If it dont work with 0.97 then try 0.96 eLoader. I dont think I have tested it on 0.97.... :icon_smil
Help! Having real trouble with this one - I've already installed SNES9XTYL-0.3 onto my PSP but now when I add the Amiga emulator onto my PSP I can't get PSPUAE to appear on the eLoader boot list - has anyone else had this problem?? I've re-installed the Eloader (using the .exe link on the first page of this thread) but this hasn't helped and I'm absolutely sure I've installed all of the files into the correct locations-
PSP/GAME/PSPUAE/EBOOT.PBP (2,025kb)
PSP/GAME/PSPUAE/KICK.ROM (512 kb)
PSP/GAME/PSPUAE/DISKS/ (2x disc images)
PSP/GAME/PSPUAE/STATE/ (nothing in here yet)
Is this all I need to do?? I manually created the folders using my USB link which I assume is the correct thing to do. I've even deleted the Snes emulator and all associated files altogether via USB but it still appears under the eLoader and PSPUAE is still nowhere to be seen. Very strange?? :icon_sad:
Running a 2.6 PSP using the GTA workaround and Fanjita's latest 0.97 version of the eLoader.
I'm sure it's something really daft so any help at all would be great!
Cheers

Think you need to press "select" to make a search for new homebrew.
Hello everyone,
anyone got a working xenon 2 adf game for pspuae?
I got PSPUAE running on my 2.01, but all the roms run real slow, even at 333Mhz.I`ve messed with the config but no difference.Any ideas?? if not i`ll just leave it be, and just wait till the next release......
no its the emulator that is making it slow.
i dont think anyone is working on it any more as it is a hard emulator to programme.
would be nice if it was faster.
but it is still a great emulator.
I am working on an update that uses e-uae 0.8.28 which is a more recent code base than the one used by Christophe Thibault. I have it running without sound but so far I am not seing any speed improvements.
Essentially I am doing a merge of the code Christophe wrote for PSP-UAE and e-uae 0.2.8. I am not not really developing any new code.
So far I am not seeing any improvements in speed but there are diffrences in what games that run as I have Rainbow Islands working but no longer Turrican II.
I will post the code if I get sound working and see a decent game compatibility.
I would expect it to be better than the curent version that is based on UAE 0.8.22
