i installed everything that MasterChief1234 has said and it installed properly, but when i click on the game i want to play, megaman x hunters (umd), it doesn't load :sad: . can anyone help?

if you did it all correctly and used the 2.5 eboot, then it should work. I first tried it with the 2.0 eboot and it started up and then froze at the first "Accessing" screen. Using 2.5, though, it works fine - save and all.Zitat:

select what? you need to run the UMD loader which will autoload the UMD from there. Don't run the UMD by itself like a regular game.
sorry for being a pest...but it still doesn't load...even when it's autoloading...maybe it's a folder problem, i'll have to go look into that T_T

not a pest...what exactly are you doing? Someone may be able to help if you say exactly what you're doing. It may be something simple you're overlooking.

okay i need help, i downloaded mph game loader, but there is no mphgameloader.prx and MPHGameLoader abd MPHGameLoader% folder. how do i install this then?

question. what's the point of the 2.0 fw when you have the 2.5 fw? more newer games need 2.5 anyways, right? (and does 2.6 work for the loader, not that it matters?)

I don't care too much, but does anyone know how to get asia imports to work? I got an asia (not jap) import of Ghost in the Shell since PlayAsia had it for like $12. It's a fw 1.52 game, but I can't get it to work with "No Update UMD Loader" Like I can Namco Battle (US) and SSX (US). It also won't run with MPH Game Loader or RunUMD. I don't care enough to try to run it from a ms. Anyone have any idea why it doesn't work?
Guess the lesson is that they are $12 for a reason, eh? For that much I figured it was worth the risk.
It works on my 1.50.
Try an *cough*iso loader*cough* and use "run umd" function.
By the way, there is no region code on games, only on videos.
Can someone tell me if this launcher would be able to work with version 2.50 or 2.60???
can someone answer this very important question. Does it work for 2.6 and if it does how did you do it because mine just shuts down in the middle of the install of the 2.6. THanks in advance.

^^ same problem. i did everything up to the point of actually booting up the fw. the psp crashes after loading up a firmware, and just goes back to the home screen w/ 1.5 running.

I'm having the same problem as a previous poster whose problem did not get resolved. I did it all correctly, loaded 2.0 firmware with mph firmware loader, exported the files to the ms0:\mphgameloader folder and everything. After my psp reboots into firmware 2.0 and I go to the game menu mphgameloader won't load, it says game cannot play, currupt data. It won't load anything in the game menu with 2.0 firmware loaded. It does the same thing that my other psp (2.6) does when you try to load something from the game menu.
My question is, how are you supposed to run the mphgameloader from the game menu with 2.0 emulated? Is it even possible to run a program from the game menu on 2.0? I know it is not possible to run anything from the game menu with 2.6 and i figure you can't with 2.0 either, at least it seems that way. Any suggestions? Backdoors? Somebody throw me a friggin bone.

You have to load the Game Loader from the 1.50 XMB, not the emulated firmware.
1.5 xmb? whats that original 1.5 firmware? it won't load the game before you launch 2.0., and once you do it's now 2.0. can you please explain a little bit.
Place "MPHGAMELOADER" and "MPHGAMELOADER%" in "ms0:/PSP/GAME"
Place "MPHGameLoader" in "ms0:/"
Place "flash0" and "flash1" in "ms0:/MPHGameloader"
Go back to your original OS(must be 1.5) screen (aka XMB).
Launch MPH Game Loader.
Note: I have not mentioned any ISOs and/or ISO loaders. I am assuming this is in assistance for loading a UMD.

all that has been done correctly, I didnt' think you had to run the mph game loader in 1.5 I thought that was what mph firmware launcher was for.(and getting th flash1 and flash0 files takin care of and put in ms0:\mphgameloader\)
Well if that's the case I guess it's just not working. I can't concievably see how it's not working since I did everything word for word and every single thing works but the actual booting of the game. I guess i can't be helped then. Thanks anyway buddy.
The MPH Firmware Launcher was only used to get the flash files.
One question, are you using the UMD or ISO?
Because if it is the ISO, I did not include one essential step.

Heh I followed all the steps, but when I try to run my Street Fighter, it keeps saying loading, then it shuts my psp off, the program works with GTA tho.
Ok really who has got this thing to really work for them? Im convinced that 2.00 f/w has worked but what about 2.50? I've read everyones post and a couple of guys are having the same problem I'm having and know one is really telling us why it doesn't work. Much props goes out to Masterchief and his tutorial because he got me as far as actually running MPH Firmware launcher. and getting my PSP to update to 2.50 but it wont load game when this happens. Everytime I press x to start UMD (SF Alpha btw) it goes right back to title screen in UMD Lobby showing SF picture. Help is needed. You geniuses out there help us!

yea. i think i finally got it working, but i need to test the 2.5 install on a game umd before i go out and buy a game.
but, i tried testing it on the pursuit force demo, and it didnt work. is this one of the games that doesnt work on the game loader whatsoever?
