some user may just whant a nice flashy menu, rather than a desktop and is not realy a big isue working on both as the code is shared between them

also for those who devoted time in icons for choice, those icons are needed in Select.

these will be used as part of the get info on a file

please note that it is in development stage, but can be used to execute eboots by creating links on the desktop, no instructions have been written yet as it is still being worked on.

Choice+ is being droped, it will be no more, only Choice will be workd on, what that means is Choice will be for 2.00 only.

If you don't have 2.00 you can use Select when it is released

Choice 1.0.8 menu for eboots is broken and until it is working again will not be released.

So the menu is going to get worked on after Select BETA 1 is released.

Not always, I had 1.4 lite working on my 2.6 and could run homers rin and a few other eboots.

Yes Choice lite not Choice+. Some builds didn't work in some fw higher than 2.0...

XArt was trying to get Choice+ to run on fw higher than 2.0 as smooth as in it. 2.6 seems to be the more problematic one but it's being worked for eXtreme

Choice+ 1.0.8 future is looking bleek as Select takes shape with the smart & keyboard part getting added, I caun't see me ever releasing 1.0.8

All I want is a flawless Choice for 2.6, and for the License key & "Pegi.info" and "pegi.tga" bug to be gone. It should allow the original icon for the homebrew. And, make it user friendly, to configure the games (put games in Fighting Section, Cars section, etc.) make an EXE file! This could be an amazing piece of homebrew if you'd take some of those oppinions in mind.

This is what Select is all about, it will when finished make Choice look very old looking.

Select (Choice eXtreme) will be the fastest menu to find your homebrew, even if you have 1000 of them or more, it will also organize your homebrew using the desktop enviroment and will have full file managment controll.

This is the goal of the Select project

It will be compatible with Choice+ icon file structure, as well as Select's new way of managing icons.

If I was to do windows it would have to be one window with pages, to keep things very simple and easy to use.

Also it would be on version 2 not the first version I release.

Choice+ development has ended, sorry they will be no 1.0.8 or 1.5

Choice eXtreme will use icons from Choice+
Choice+ source code will be kept in case a big demand for its return is whanted
