Guide: Quake on PSP

i have connected and played a few games, i have edited the config file over and over but it keeps resetting back to original and saying _______ entered the game..

this is my final problem please help

edit the custom.cfg file instead. view the readme included with the menu config system for more details.

What did you edit in the config file, anything to do with wifi other then changing the name?

hmmm...i just wannna know how to make my controls stop resetting...

edit your controls in the custom.cfg to how you like them. If you are using the config menu system, then the defaulyt controls are stored there, not through the standard quake menu. You catch all that?

Having a problem with a user, you should post on my forums. That way I can speak with them, or have them either leave or handicap. I guess I will need to tell all PC players to keep out from this point on.

when you go to the setup in the multiplayer section, it shows access point as connection 1, the host name as your nickname and your name as your nickname, so your name apears twice on there.

I tried to remove some entries (2) from my network definitions, so my default one be the first, now the wifi light doesn't even turn on when I set infrastructure on ...

Access point in setup is empty.

Host name and my name are my screen name.

ooo!!! i have an idea about how i can get the controls to not reset,how about someone opens up their custom.cfg file and then copies it all and pastes it on here!!! so i can then delete all of what i have on mine,and paste what u have!!!!!!!!! yaa!! someone post their custom.cfg writing plz

Actually I think I might need the full version. Cause every time I connect I get an error that I don't have this or that map.

the custom.cfg file doesnt have any indication of setting up the connection nor any of the config files in there.

thats what I been wondering, how is that the wifi light goes on when you enable infustructure mode and then being unable to connect to any of the servers, something is screwy with this new eloader, Theres no screen that initualizes the wifi connection, you know like when you go to the network configuration on your PSP and doing a test connection and stuff, You see non of that here, You just turnit on and its supposed to work. Well it aint, so I'm sticking with eboot 09, since its the only thing that actually works with quake's online.

It is definately online, or else I would not be able to see other people talk...And you don't see the "initualizing" screen because of how they are getting wifi to work.

Are you even using a 2.0 PSP with the tiff exploit? people claim to get it working, but there using 2.60, What about us 2.0 tiff exploit users?

I have 2.0, and it works fine...partly....it hangs quite a bit..

I think the majority of people here playing the game online are using 2.60 PSP and not realizing that those with 2.0 are SOL unless using the previous eloader with the wifi loader trick.

But how did you get the wifi to work in 97, I dont get it, Turning on the infustruture mode in quake just turns on the green light, yet it wont connect, But when I use eboot 09 and the wifi loader trick, start quake and turning on the infustructure mode, quake connects online, what am I missing here?

tiger! omfg u dont start it through multiplayer. u turn on infrastucture then press circle to go to main menu then sart a new game then press

pb is it DOESN'T even turn on any longer for me lol
