I have hit a snag, it has preventing the previous folder or going into a folder from working, nothink has been change, just entered a new function, totaly isolated from the rest, it seems the PSP exploit issue is stopping from working, so will have to take some time to find how much dummy code that dosn't do anythink to get it working again.
The PSP can be a right ibtch times.
Well, sorry for not saying, Im 2.6 and it is very unstable (crash when quiting homebrew, when doing just about most things)
Still have some small Issue's, when you delete or try to change its name, the file gets all fuzzy, also when go to Get Info on a file, it sometimes frezzes then turns of or the window pops up with info and the muse on the bootom of the window frezzes and the one on top of the window is movable. Also you have to press O twice to get out of it, and also goes back a page.

Keyboard for Rename will not go ahead, I will be going back a version to 1.6.4a and retry 1.6.5a that addresses some of the isusues that you and otheres have pointede out, 1.6.5a uses the favourite folder "Add Favourite" and once this is done it will be more or less a fully useable menu, in a desktop style.
And fix any other discovered issues as I go along.
At a later date when everythink is solid and very relyable i will relook at putting the rest of the filemanging stuff in like the keyboard.
I can not do this at this stage as I feel it is far from ready and will almost fall apart if I add the keyboard now.
I think thats a good Idea.

I am looking into it, the status has not been changed in any way, instead of a button, you select it from a menu so I don't yet know what is making it freezeZitat:

Just like to add, Restart choice is for 2.00 users, on 2.00 you can use the usb to replace the old eboot.pbp for new and restart, so 2.00 can use this for quickly using the latest version.
Also very handy for me as a developer.
sorry for all the posts but it would also be cool if when you push square to bring up the menu if you could choose what program you want it to open the file in like it would say open "Untitled.jpg" in Preview or open "Untitled.jpg" in Image Player so on and so forth and also where did you get psp devolupment progs. for mac cause im working on a mac too :)
I personally think its better to keep it at the triangle button so you can easily check the status of you psp with a press of a button. But thats just my opinion. Its up to you of course.
I was thinking of swaping the square to triangle like the sony psp interface dose, but will stick to a menu, status is not used hat much and I need the buttons, also need to keep it very simple to operate

down to using a mp3 player and for jpg a viewer, untill developers write there apps with extreme support
no i meant since you said it will open in another program because you said that you wanted it to be more like windows and mac and have seperate programs so how do you set it to open in the program like i want my mp3's to play on DJSP

I have another problem. every once in a while after viewing folders and goin back to the desktop, the screen would show no icons, no anything except the top bar. Well, I knew that you could restart coicex so i did. After I pressed the restart button it would say couldn't open eboot.pbp: 80020320. This only happens when it shows nothing on the screen except the top bar. Restarting works fine when you can see and select icons.
i also found another issue if i hit the triangle and click on , i think it says more info? but when i click it then hit circle it stays in mixed with the background then shutsdown

Edit: The Can not load eboot thing seems to happen only once and awhile if I get unlucky. Guess its just a small glitch.
Tested on my PSP 2.0, eloader 0.96:
the options when pressing square works fine except for some small issues:
1- Get Info says: Creation Time: 18 July 2006, Modification Time: 15 July 2006. This couldn't be right. And when you press circle to go back, nothing happens, pressing the circle one more time will bring you to the main or desktop menu.
2- PSP Status. Battery Power doesn't seem to say the correct remaining %.
3- Create Link still did not create one for my snes9xtyl_0[1].4.2_minusintro eboot but it did for the rest of my homebrews (luaplayer 0.16, KETM 0.9, pspChess0.31, AOTM o.4, PCEP0.7, NesterJv1.11, MinerPSP v1.1)
I just found out that USB is enabled when you lauched XChoice. Xart, is this correct? That USB when running XChoice, default is ON?

Did you put a limit of how many icons there can be on the desktop. I have 8 icons riight now on the desktop and Ive been tryin to put more but it doesnt work. Also, do you plan on using the danzeff as your osk for renaming files? Thats the best osk out there.

This has happened to me on numerous occasions. I tried the restart as well and it said the same thing about not being able to start the eboot. Quite upsetting... I've got 2.6.Zitat:

I might have to go back to eMenu until maybe beta release for this... But it is an incredible application and I WILL be using it once the bugs are sorted, I have the latest eboots and all that. I think my psp is a little retarded. Good job though xart and keep it up. Hopefully these can be sorted.
Excellent application I love it! But I have one problem it will boot up and run Choice eXtreme fine but whenever you go on a game like Squarez and try and run the eboot it goes straight back to the PSPs interal menu :Cry:
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I am using Eloader 0.97 and a UK PSP with FW 2.5
If anyone can help that would great :)

Yes the bottom bar is nothink more than icons with fancy design and fixed position with fixed position on filename of the icon as well
