Adding a date on the top, has broken choicex for browsing your ms, so I will need to add somthink else to unbreak it, it is one of the issue of runing homebrew threw an exploit without full kernal access, programs freez don't work, crash for no logical reason.
I am strongly thinking of going to 2.71 and write flash games as homebrew is just no good unless they is kernal access, I am hoping for the 2.71 firmware mod for upgrading 2.00 so I am holding off for a while longer.

Sound really unlikely... I think it'll be more likely DevHook supporting 2.71... If they found a way to access kernel in 2.5/2.6 without GTA (like a homebrew PBP from the Game folder in the XMB... Or maybe a Sony demo... That'd be sweet!) maybe there could be hope for 2.7/2.71...
There is always the UP chip. At the moment I'm trying to see if I can sell my 2.0 to any of my buddies to get a brand new chipped PSP. That would be great! No more fw problems ever!

Choice will continue, if I deside to upgrade, I simply will use an setup on mac that will translate the fuctions for the psp for sdl and this would allow me to continue. thats a long way off if I deside on that.Zitat:

Adding time has broken it, it still runs but freezes when you try to browse other folders, be adding bat, so maybe it will start working again after I add that, that is the type of issues that happen developing for the psp and is why I am thinking of writing the game that I will do in flash, but do need 2.71 for that
but should be able to setup a enviroment on the mac to continue c/c++ for psp and be trying it out soon to see if that would work out by trying it out on beta1, no testing on an actual psp
and if this workd out could be the psp sdk for all developers to use with libarys supporting not just psp but other platforms using sdl

Well there have been a couple of PSP PC emu atempts but they were pretty weak... They couldn't even support some simple homebrew apps (at least I couldn't)...

There was also a PSP PC emu fiasco some months ago :mad:
What I am planning is not an emulator but a sdk that produces binarys for PSP,PC,Mac & Linux from the PSP homebrew source code so debugging can be done on say the Mac and once it is finished run on a PSP.

looks very nice, if i was them i keep it closed source, they have don a lot of work and going open source some one will simply try and make it there own, like dark karnage tryed to do with the menu and eLoaderZitat:

they is one thing I have noticed, I never see any smooth fonts like I do on homebrew
perhaps I will post that as open source as i think I need to bring homebrew out of the dark ages, the font format that i have can go up to 256x256 in size per glyph
I like the font idea, for some reasons emulators always have crapy fonts on the PSP.
BTW PSIX wasn't open source beafore, there were some issues in the persons life. He/She quitted, but now is back.
