Um I think I'm lost here, is select out yet? Is there a date?
No, it is not out, deveopment build stages were given out for those who whanted to see how it was shaping up and if it would work on firmware 2.00, 2.01 2.50 & 2.60
2.7x is not supported
for the moment i have removed select one of the beta releases from my psp.
found it a bit annoying at the moment and am waiting for a stable release.
it is a wicked program on my 2.6 but did find that the problems bugged me.
like that you cant exit to the menu too many times or it will crash.
i think you are doing a really good job xart.

the stable isue are caused by the PSP itself, the code is sound and when the PSP is realy pushed hard, it becomes unstable, no other platform gives me this issue other than the PSP, it may well be down to the exploit method of getting homebrew to work, if it was allowed the normal execution it would proberly be fine, I have found that access to the memory stick access to be a issue causing freezing now and again.
All I can do is try my best to get round these isses by using a diferant aproche
As you may know by now the project code for Choice eXtreme has been scraped, and a new code written for Choice eXtreme been written, well allmost all written.
This new version is showing signs of better performance and gets round the PSP issues of freezing.
This is the stage that Choice eXtreme is at.

A build will be release soon, I am about to send out just the desktop part to see how stable it runs on all suppored firmwares then release it agaon with the keyboard and file managment part.
