Harddrive, I am using HEN D, and I followed this guide (except, where it said to install DH500001 I used the Devhook porter by DAX) and it worked! I am currently emulating 3.01 from my TA-082 2.71 PSP! Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate the hard work and effort you put into making this guide, and carefully responding to everyone's questions.

Is there anyway to listen to Music on a seperate memory stick than the one that holds Devhook? Or is it impossible
I think it would crash the PSP, since the DH is running from that memory stick..
You could try it though, nothing bad will happen (will NOT brick)

btw is anyone not able to click on anything on the left side (security settings, usb, etc. while using the devhook?) wait do we have to press start? is that it?
Thanks for the guide, worked perfectly but my X and O buttons are swapped. Is there a way to fix this? I used the eboot provided here, the one at the Sony Site but nothing has been different.

Are X and O swapped in games as well? b/c that sucks :(
Mine are only switched while in the XMB, otherwise its all working normally.
and i assue u can delete the 3.01 eboot and the firmware isntaller? not that big of a deal

Everytime I reboot my PSP and install DH, the PSP starts up like it's fresh, and I have to redo all of my settings. Any help on that?
Anybody has that O and X switched, I don't know, but mine isn't. You could try the flash rom question. I'm not going to answer individual X and O questions.

I searched the thread with the keyword FBM. Since I didnt find anything, what do I do with the fbm folder? It has two folders inside called 1 and 2. Inside those are a bunch of files... They look important, but they do take up space. Do I delete them?

I cant use the easy installer because i use hend. and i use the hexedited devhooks to get to 1.5 and then use .51 to try to go to 3.01.
Yes you can, actually. Use devhook .46 to emulate 1.50. Then use the easy installerZitat:

I did tried reinstall... No change.
I am currently trying the auto installer. The one you just put the eboot.pbp and it doe everything for you.
The easy installer is perfect.......well except for the button switch.

For those who's UMD/backup freezes at gameboot when it is launched. Leave the "audio.prx" alone. Don't replace it with the one from 2.71 dump.

If i am one of the victims comes this christmas when i get my psp, u know what ill do Ill just say hmm.. since i have a TA-082 ill just stick with it and not bother devhooks or firmwares but keep the tutorials i have on my pc for later use. Just in case something comes up u know.
