not sure...think I read somewhere on here that dh defaults are 333mhz, but I so could be wrong.

nope, defaults are always (that i've ever seen in anything homebrew) are 222. That includes cwcheats, devhooks, etc that i've tried.

why are you referring to that person's link? the download link for devhook 0.51.0100 has been available through QJ's download site.

every time i load DH i have to setup the username, time, date, etc is there a way to prevent this?

Hi,

I just tried to install the newest DevHook including FW 3.01 and it seems that I repeatedly fail to do so. Though I formatted my stick prior to copying anything and followed the instructions strictly (first method with the automated installer), I always get the blue multilingual "Your settings are corrupted, please press O button" screen after I selected to emulate FW 3.01 and DevHook rebooted.

Can anybody help me with that matter? :Cry:

edit: oh yea, just forgot to tell ya: My flash0-firmware is 2.71 SE-B".

I followed the first method and when i start devhook, It loads but then turns to a black screen and shuts down on me.

did you take the 2 folders out of the installer folder and put them into your game folder (the % and the other one) this is what i forgot to do at first

the all in one eboot , makes devhook less stable than the flashing method.

ok so i installed the newest devhook. whenever I try using game sharing it says "a connection error has occured (80410702) is that normal?

i was thinking giving 3.02 a shot, and i was curious if there was a DH auto-installer similar to what tomydanger made for 3.01......

How can i prevent the VSHEX menu from opening? There is an option that says "Menu on boot" and it is set to ON, but i can't figure out how to change it to OFF, i have pressed every button on my PSP.

all the people with socom 2 and patch i found a solution!! deleted the socom update in the game folder then in DEV load your firmware and make the UMD load automatically.

I was just trying to install 3.02 right now, following the first method suggested...I have 2 simple questions...

1) The 3.02 Firmware installer, is actually just the 3.01 one...in the PSP, it says 3.01 installer, not 3.02....is this OK ?

2) Now that Booster has updated Devhook 0.51 to 0.5101000, maybe this guide should be updated...

Hi, I'm a long time user first time poster here. I have a problem. My devhook turns black when it starts. At first, it would load with x-flash partly, some things worked, others didn't including games. So I decided to use an auto installer. After 2 hours of it not working, I finally decided to check the folders to make sure everything worked, and sure enough, my F1 folder was empty.

I'm running se-c.

What's wrong? Is there a fix? Can I have the f1 folders or is that illeagal? Thanks.

The firmware installer comes up as a corrupt file when i try to acess it.

I'm using 2.71 se-b and i've made sure to put all the stuff in game150.

guys im running dev .51 on 1.5fw, if I upgrade to 2.71 se-c, would I need to install/run the devhook all in one eboot again?

well, i just tried to upgrade my "devhook 0.46 emulating 2.71 on 1.50" configuration today, to "devhook

0.51.0100 emulating 3.02 on 1.50", but i am facing a very different problem.....I only have a 32MB MS (hear

me out before you crack) right now...I have been planning to buy a 4GB one, but its not of urgent importance

cuz i use the USB connection to load ISOs, etc.. But now, I think I am facing a problem due to the limited

space on the MS....

The problem is, that I put the 3.02 EBOOT.PBP in the Root of the 32MB MS, and I put a fresh copy of devhook

0.51 as well, and the 3.02 FW Installer. When I run the installer, it starts doing some work...Then I

recieve a write error message, stating that the 'stick might be full'...and then goes back to the XMB...when

I take a look at available space, it says 0 KB....

So is there any way I can do all this processing on my PC, and then shift over the data onto the PSP in the

end ..?? Or any other alternative..??

btw, my thanx to the people who made the PSP scene live n kickin', including Booster and Dark Alex, along with others...

this guide is crap.. i followed everything but got the BLUE SCREEN and had to reinstall my PSP, **** this im using old devhook

OK, can someone tell me please:
DOES DEVHOOK 0.51 WRITES TO FLASH?

I know it CAN write to flash if i choose that option in DH menu, but does it write to flash in some other way?

And just one more question, why should i write files to the flash from DH menu? Does it improves something, or what?

If you're under 1.5 and it work then you don't need to flash anything, and no, it won't flash anything by itself.

I need help.... Can I use something like USBHOST on Devhook v0.51??
Because i don't have a big enough mem stick for some games...
Could i do it again 'cause i used it in my Devhook 0.46...
If i can can someone help me on how to do it..

Hey I know it's probably posted in this massive thread somewhere already, but when I try to use the 3.02 installer, after it extracts the PSAR it says that "the memory stick is full, or can't create OUT folder." I know my memory stick isn't full, in fact it has 892MB still free on it. So what's the problem with this installer, is there something I'm doing wrong? I already tried reformating my MS only to be greeted with the same message.

kind of a noob. been looking around the community for some time now and i kind of have an idea of what i wanted to do with my psp so decided to just go on with it. I've downgraded before but this time i downgraded using dark_alex's generic downgrader method found here: http://forums.qj.net/f-guides-hacks-...der-73469.html

i downgraded to 1.5 from a 2.71 and then i upgraded to 2.71 SE-C. was this a good choice? i don't know.

i can't get devhook to work. or the 3.02 installer to work. please tell me where i might be going wrong. the psp works fine so it's not a brick. i just can't get it to work... i'm pretty sure i'm following the instructions correctly.

To all you people who can't get the auto installer to show up on se-c you have to rename it and delete the _'s after the second one. So you should have %_xxx_xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and _xxxx_xxxxxxxxxxx

Can someone please tell me what I can do about my problem on page 99? Thaks.

I'm not that much of a noob, I did put the EBOOT on the root of my MS. The program even locates it and begins to extract the PSAR. What happens is it says "extracting PSAR" and the MS light flashes for like five seconds and then it says "cannot create OUT Folder or MS may be full."

Did you copy Devhook on the ms before running the installer?

Yeah I have a copy of devhook on there now that loads with 3.01. Only I deflashed the F1 files just in case it happened to interfere with the 3.02 install. But yeah, I have Devhook files on my MS before I run the installer.
