nu. it only returns your PSP to 3.71 or 3.71M33
from what i gather it to unbrick ur psp slim or fhat to either offical 3.71 or to 3.71 m33 cfw this weird that the 3.4 and 1.5 kernels mixed tho
Does pandora's battery unbrick all fat PSP versions?
This will not downgrade the Slim at present. It will return you to 3.71 or 3.71M33.
So Once Sony releases a new Firmware, this WILL allow you to downgrade to 3.71/M33
thank u .. so if i have a slim psp 3.71 original i cant make it cfw 3.71 right?? :/
I'd like to know this too, even the translated readmes are a little confusing to me and I don't quite get if you can go to 3.71m33 or just 3.71 official, or how you can decide which to do if it can do both.Originally Posted by CoOoL_BoY

so I guess someone has to try it out first.
edit: No wait.. I'm pretty sure it can take you to 3,71m33
it mentions you can decide, but since it's not shown on screen on the PSP slim, you have to follow partly the instructions from PSP Fat, or that's what I understand.
lol i wonder how Sony's feeling right now.
i bet theyre trying to get the unpandorable batteries out as fast as they can.
I'm confused. What does this do that we couldn't already do before with Pandora?
i wont need this till i buy my slim
i cant decide between black and white!

It's good to support newcomers never know what they may bring ^^
Well, if you've read up on pandora or the CFW in general this should be obvious: Yes, this'll downgrade/customize/restore/unbrick any and all psp's but YOU STILL NEED ACCESS TO A CFW PSP FAT/SLIM OR BORROW THE MEM CARD/BATTERY FROM A FRIEND (THIS IS NOT A STANDALONE APPLICATION)! If you still don't believe me i just did it to 3 of my friends slims, along with one fat from someone who stupidly updated his 3.40 to 3.71 in order to get custom themes. The only problem you may experience is that it will not boot up properly after install (ie backlight turns on, mem stick flashes, power led goes on but then freezes and shuts off) to remedy this merely boot it in recovery (Hold R-trigger on startup) and then hit exit, you then get the BSoD DAX describes and you enter the psp's initial setup. If this fails (it shouldn't never did, and on one of the slims i dwnd it didn't even freeze after install) try using format flash one, if it boots at all and recovery pops up. If it does not boot, ie only led turns on, look on the mem sticks install log to see what went wrong (my first time through i deleted 371.pbp by accident:Argh: ) and try to do it again having remedied the problem if it was on your end (ie low battery no eboot etc.). Regardless there is always the danger of bricking (making console useless) if you do something very very very stupid:humped:
EDIT: one more thing, for those of you with trouble understanding the readme (which is like 50% of the country, thnx mexicans ) on this app works perfectly on the slim, yet it does not show any kind of display except flashing lights. After you stick magic card/jig-kick battery combo into the psp slim you need to hit x once, if it fails your flash will still be formated before install and your psp will no longer boot (i learned the hard way), so you have to use a card reader to read the log to see WTF happened. Anyways the pro duo led will light up for about 5 seconds at which time the psp is extracting the eboot psar into ram, then it will go out and the green one will go on, not sure what happens at this stage though my guess is it's extracting/patching the prx's from psar then the memcard and wlan lights will blink on and of one after the other (indicating it is writing to flash) and when they stop the psp shuts down by automaticaly in like 5 seconds and you're set.

Added the translated readmes to the first post, all translating done by MrTuto_Alek and JX1 (thanks!), if you want it removed just tell me ;)
The man continues his great work.
And there is nothing else I or anyone can say.
Varnil, were you able to get the slim psps to 3.71m33 with this or did it install official 3.71?
Np with me
At first i installed 3.71 OFW to see how it functions, and out of curiosity to make sure pandora isn't blocked (its not luckily). Then i proceeded to install 3.71 M33 on all of them. If you still don't believe me the leeme said press x to install M33 and o to install OFW
So I am now under the assumption if someone has a PSP slim with 3.71 you can now make it into 3.71 m33?Originally Posted by varnil

i'm proud to tell that it works.
it detects wersion of PSP (slim or phat) and simple instails it.
epic win, dax
This works awesome.
I can verify that it will allow you to take ANY current PSP/Firmware revision and flash it to either a) Offical Sony 3.71 or b) 3.71-M33.
Remember you MUST have a CFW running 2.x or greater or a "fat" PSP running 1.5 OFW in order to MAKE the MMS and Pandora Battery.
To test it I had a 3.71M33 slim PSP. I used this to "downgrade" to Sony's Offical 3.71 firmware. Then I made a nand dump of said Sony 3.71 firmware, and then I used this to go back to 3.71M33.
It works flawlessly. Amazing work DAX, this community humblely bows our collective heads to you and the other original Pandora Dev's.
Also you can keep your original MMS setting by simply moving the existing MMS files into a folder called Original Pandora. Then you can switch the MMS if you find you have some need to flash down to 1.5.
i already have a pandora battery and memory stick.
i'm confused about what it says in the instructions. so can anyone tell me what to do when i alrady have the pandora battery and memory stick.
just skip the format step, launch the app that creates the IPL, and delete 340 and 150 eboots, just leaving 371 in the root. thats all. its good for the psp slim, but for the fat, i still use the old pandora to downgrade to 1.5 and update to another CFW, until there is full compatibility with 3.71 m33, that haves 1.5 and irshell functions correctly working!!

No longer comes to this site...
He just released version 2 with a little bugfix, first post edited :)
So whats difference between this and pandora with the slim patch to get you to 3.60m33? I see no difference in it.
