Why did you package it in a cso?
Your indenting is very inconsistent. I makes the code hard to read.
You shouldn't repeat your game in more than one file just for different difficulties.
You shouldn't have multiple print statements for one block of text.
instead ofCode:screen:print(3, 10, "Score: " .. Score.Num, black)
Some people would disagree, but I think you should split your code into functions, even if they don't have inputs, instead of putting everything into your main loop.Code:screen:print(3, 10, "Score", black) screen:print(61, 10, Score.Num, black)
It's good that you didn't resort to using mp3s for music, like too many lua devs do (I'm guilty).
And some suggestions:
Make the objects and the background scroll at the same rate, it just looks awquard as it is (A simple one-line change).
Have images for the penguin leaning side to side.
You should have an avalanche animation at the bottom of the screen
Next time post a release in the Development Forum. That is where releases are usually posted.

Probably because that is a way to have more 1.50 kernel games working on the Slim.Originally Posted by Nielkie
Does that actually work? I just figured that he used the hacked 3.71 luaplayer. (which explains the lack of fonts in the game over screen)
CSO is just easier to handle and i can compress it, honestly i didn't expect anyone to tear it open, As for the 3 different files its easier to code for the different levels. That way i don't mess up the whole game when editing just one level. Yes it is inefficient in theory but if you really want the 5kb back fell free to spend 30 min merging them.
Also does anyone feel like pinning this to the front page?
can you post some screenshots
