Sony Plans To Charge For PsP Content Next Year

As we've all been blessed with free tracks/add-ons for current PsP games, Sony does plan to charge us for this content within the next 6 months. I'm not surprised by this decision due to the success of add-on backs for games like WipeOut. Hopefully the charges will be minimum, and will add hours of more fun.
Those who purchased a PlayStation Portable and Wipeout Pure or Fired Up today may be enjoying their free vehicle and track update packs - but in six months' time they'll have to start paying for them. During his opening keynote at GDCE yesterday, Sony Europe VP Phil Harrison briefly touched on the company's PSP strategy now that the machine had launched globally - and premium content downloads are a big part of the plan.
