If i wanted to get a PSP-3000 in the future, should i go ahead and buy GripShift now, so that if ur able to put CFW on it, ill have it?

Dont buy it just yet. Wait to see if anyone discloses a kernel exploit. Devs are playing their cards close to their chest at this point in time.

Has anyone seen 3000's with Box Code 'C' yet?

I've seen that the Black ones are beginning to be 'B' while White and Silver ones are 'B'. 'C' is out as the new colours red and blue.

I hope they haven't changed the motherboards yet.

I highly doubt that they've changed motherboards already. Unless the early ones still had the pre-IPL bug, which I doubt they do, there's no real reason to change it (that we know of)

if only this exploit was compatible with 6.00+
I tried to decrypt pspbtcnf.bin for a custom firmware but it didn't work for some reason
