i just noticed somethin.theres never exploits in games i already own. lumines, gta, etc.

Ah, didn't know about this one. Kudos. Personally, had I found this one, I wouldn't have announced it until something more substantial had come about, but that's just me. (As for the Illuminati exploit, I technically didn't announce that myself--I didn't even exploit it. All I did was find the buffer overflow that Noobz exploited.)

But regardless, let this be the first domino!

Well, maybe it's just me but I think that an exploit is good to announce when you've got it running code, which this one does

Besides, clearing the framebuffer isn't far off from a proper hello world :)

Well, it doesn't seem you'd need them anyway. Do you?

I got Lumines when no one needed it, two weeks before Illuminati was released.

It was $3 US dollars. It was at this small shop and I bought it thinking that if one of my UMDs broke, I could use the white shell to replace it!

I'm going to try getting GripShift now.

There is a white screen at the end of the video. I don't think the embedded version shows it, but it's there. The exploit clears the framebuffer, not the game :)

When talking about buffer overflows, you don't generally talk about the framebuffer, as you usually don't have access to that (until you exploit something else). Clearing the framebuffer is just what they did with this exploit.

Too bad it's not a more recent game. Gripshift isn't exactly plentiful or super easy to find
