Closure Announcement of Dark-AleX.org Forum

I just went to Dark-AleX.org and got this...

Within the following announcement, we announce the closure of Dark-AleX.org forum, after one year of working, more than 50,000 users, more than
170,000 messages, and more than 15,000 threads. With those statistics, that have gone generally within more than 450 messages, 40 threads and 130
new users per day, we are more than just satisfied about the results and about what we have reached.

There are many reasons. The forum, by itself, has been a challenge. A challenge that, without any doubt, has exceeded all of our expectatives, and
a challenge that now, after all that we have been through, we find ourselves happy and proud of having gone this far. However, its, professionally
speaking, a moment for evolving and taking ourselves a little time for relax and so we can study whats next.

Since the beginning, the people' answer has been something amazing and indescribable, something that we won't have enough grateful words, and that
fills us of satisfaction. This support has been so huge that we have found ourselves overwhelmed, and when we wanted to give the deserved service
for each user, we have gone into problems and we have got to take this hard but consistent decition; that, the same way as we wield a smile when all
this was starting, this last decition makes us sad, but we know that is the best choice at the moment.

Again, thanks to all, to our moderators, to our friends, to our old and new partners, to the English Zone and their help to this project, and everyone
of you that have helped us on any terms.

so we can deliver what you need.

And remember, you always have to your disposal our IRC as a place in where you can chat, you can laugh with us, and as a cool reason to make a reunion

Well, it takes money and time to run a forum, especially if it gets a lot of traffic like the Dark_Alex forum. Hopefully hes not done with the CFW or we'll be quite lost. Unless some developer is looking to become very popular picks it up. *hint**hint*

well maybe his tired after all. or maybe sony ofers him good deals regarding not doing any custom firrmware so UMD`s will be sold or sony pirate dark-alex to upgrade their program many possible reason hayyyyyzzzzz. we will never forget you dark-alex and all of your work i/we know a lot of programers out there its your time.

Well, looks like I'm gonna have to become a GEN-ital soon. But you never know. Maybe we'll see one last hurrah, or maybe it's just the forums. He's done similar things before. Maybe M33 is dead, but a whole new version will rise from the ashes.

Dark-Alex did not say goodbye or "quit". He is just not going to keep running the hassle of a forum any-more. He will still be working on the PSP and will put his releases on his site like usual.

God i love what idiots with no decent grasp on the language have been posting about this on all the psp forums.

Lol well i dont think he got paid. Sony would more than likely just sue or threaten to sue rather than pay someone i mean they are sony after all. But yeah who knows whats happening if he is gone for good then he will be remembered as the best, but if he has somethin up his sleeve which he might it will be awesome.

There is no chance that Sony pays for DA to make CFW. However, only 10% of total buyers use CFW, and I guess that the rest just don't know that there is a CFW for the PSP. Just kidding. The only way we can help Sony to continue its developments, is to actually update to OFW, and start using UMDs.

Yes but the UMDs cost so much
I don't spend 50 Euros for a UMD

No, I don't think so. When the game is released in USA or EUR, it gets shipped to my country. That means you get to play the game before me.
