Ok so I downloaded DJ Max Fever for my PSP Go and it said I had to update it to 6.20

Pressed ok then it took me to "update via web or storage"

Clicked storage and boom..... "6.30 Found..."

wtf...?

I didn't install it...

I thought maybe a hack was released and it was a patch update or something so I didn't even update at all.

. And if it bricks you go send it in to Sony, under warranty. You've got pics to show that it was a legit attempt to update your firmware

Yeah like elite said maybe it installed in the ms from the Media go with the Game you downloaded.

Could you upload the eboot file? Should Be in PSP/Game/Update when you are on the Local Storage (of the PSP) with the pc

I think i found out what it was, I downloaded a "reboot" for my psp to see if it would launch and it did, so when I checked to see if the system could be updated and it picked that up

can someone with a hackable psp see if the system could lauch a eboot from "system update" ?

im scared to lauch it on my Go cause if it bricks im screwed, everyone else can just pandora right?

Just the eboot is edited!
I opened it with PSP Brew and the Update Version was set to 6.30 but the rest was 6.20...

I dont know why people waste their time to do things like that...
