- if output buffer allocation failed, EDecrypt will now try to use unsafe method.
It may cause unpredictable bugs, but it's better than nothing :)

- added signatures for new firmware version checks
- unencrypted ELF binaries can be patched too
- added decompression of compressed, but not encrypted files
- improved memory handling, so now PSPs with 64 MB of RAM can decrypt files up to ~25 MB
- little bug and typo fixes ;)

Nice find, but I am a bit disappointed by the minor improvements... I hope that Eboot Patcher will also be upgraded for 6.20+ because it is way more useful to patch it directly on the PSP than having to unpack the iso, patch the eboot, repack the iso... (even if we can rip it ^^)

Well i found a demo patcher but it needs 1.50 kernel so guess how old is it.
It can decrypt only 4-5 demos i think.

Description:
~Maniac~'s method to patch official Sony PSP demos to work on any firmware version.

* Place the PSDEMOPATCH and PSDEMOPATCH% folders into your PSP/GAME folder
* Place the EBOOTs that you want patched in “ms0:/updpbp/” so that the directory structure looks like this:
ROOT–>UPDPBP–>PSPDEMO1–>E BOOT.PBP
ROOT–>UPDPBP->PSPDEMO2–>EBOOT.PBP
* You can patch multiple EBOOTs at one time. Please make sure that the EBOOTs are in their own folders within the updpbp folder
* Run PSP Demo Patcher

what needs to be done though is decryption of the eboot itself....
im sure sony learned about past mistakes like when a hex change defeated encryption on very old games (dont remember which games they were though as this was a very long time ago...

It does the old sfo edit. ;)
I mean it change the FW in the sfo.

lol i tried that already in ModNation and it starts up then stops with the error that the cso/iso couldnt start/play or cant be found lol im sure it did more then edit the sfo

Do you know how to reverse engineering it ? Cause i don't think that there is source code for this.

lawl i know to reverse it but i dont know anything about MIPS to sully reverse it im sure if i can get a hold of manic i can get its code

and its not for this elite its for manics Demo patcher from back in the day when the fw was 2.80 and such
