just got my copy of "Which" today, written in the Inside Story (roundup) section it has some news...
"Sony will replace faulty PlayStation Portable (PSP) games consoles direct if retailers refuse. Owners have told us of problems exchanging consoles with dead pixels, which appear as flaws on the LCD screen. Contact Sony on the number in the box."
I suspect this dosnt cover machines purchased (for the UK) outside the EU though... this is good news for owners... I did hear elsewhere that you can reject any LCD device that has any dead pixels, no matter what quantity the manufacturer claims to be within there Quality control standards... A Single Dead pixel is now considered to be a defect and you can reject it if you wish!
GREAT NEWS for CONSUMERS!!!... BAD NEWS for MANUFACTURERS!!!
