just one question
so in order to unbrick my psp i need to have another psp that have an OE or 1.5 so i can use the working psp to load the files i need onto my memory stick and put the memory stick and my battary in my brick psp for it to unbrick?
Or
do i just hook up my Brick psp to my computer and follow the steps.

1. Make the memory stick files and battery on ANY homebrew-enabled PSP.
2. Pop the memory stick and now jigkick battery into the bricked PSP.
3. You're unbricked!
im still shocked to see that my psp started working again once i popped in the battery..

Well I went ahead and tried it, thinking that I would be able to turn the PSP on with no battery (AC cord attached), boot up 1.5, pop in the battery and flash "batt0:/" back to my original eeprom.
Just stays at a black screen! Can anyone confirm this is normal behaviour?
I am going to buy a new battery today and try it!
have you done thi bit wit the memory card if so you have probably done the memory card wrong that is what makes the scren just stay black

Should my PSP turn on normally without a battery inserted (AC cord) after flashing to 1.50? Or do I need a Normal battery inserted?
It should turn on just fine with just the AC Adaptor plugged in. That's how I turned mine back on and restored my battery. When booting leave out both the AC Adaptor and the Memory Stick.
either would work but if you restore your batery then you could use that one

I have tried flashing to 1.50 again and it says it was sucessful, but still I cannot get past this black screen!
make sure the battery and mem stick are out and ac adapter is in

Was your PSP bricked to begin with or was it just being downgraded? How did it get bricked before? Try hitting the backlight button.Zitat:

OK, new problem now!
When I flash my batt0:/ EEPROM.bin back to my battery, it gives an error writing at 0x14.
Seems to work ok though?

The idstorage is only affected when downgradeing a TA-082/086 to 1.50, and newer downgraders only change the one single pice that's needed for it.Zitat:

Say i formatted Flash 0:\ on the computer while in TOGGLE USB FLASH 0, i tried to boot, obviously its bricked. Would the jig kick battery still be operable in this situation?

I have a few questions regarding this great hack.
1. Can Sony patch it?
2. Should the PSP Hackers have waited until the Slim was released? Will it matter?
No it can not be patched because it is in the battery adnd ipl. they were going to wait but it was leaked and so they had to release it before some else got credit
The PSP slim comes out in like 3 weeks I dont think they could patch every single one in that time, they have probably already started shipping them..
but i still doubt that it would work on the slim. i mean it would work and possibly you can see the pandora menu but the problem is that past firmwares are most likely unsupported at the moment like when TA-082 or 086 werent able to run any firmwares bellow 2.50, therefore it turns into slim and light weight brick. unless you are able to flash 3.60 back onto the psp. thats possible right? just switch the eboots on the root of your memory stick from 1.50 update to 3.60 update.Zitat:
