I already do that but also I had to skip the mspformat part because it gaved me an error saying me something like "Logical drive has more than a physical drive. Cannot handle it." Help wouldbe REALLY apreciated.

How do you access your memstick from the PC?Zitat:

Via USB mode on the PSP? Where is the PSP connected to? HUB, direct USB port of the PC, whatever?
Has anyone got an answer for me? I don't want to buy another battery and find out it doesn't work with this.Zitat:

Your best bet is to stick with a battery of normal size.

Agree, plus if your going to make a Pandora Battery I would just keep it. You never know when you may need it and wouldn't have to spend the time makeing another one later.Zitat:

And the tutorial.

Just.
Damn.
this just blows my mind. Who would've thought a battery could downgrade a psp... It's hard to comprehend
WOW! SO this really works right??
umm don't you see the dozens of threads, thousands of post confirming the validity of this explot?
yes it works.
Do you still need to charge the battery after converting the battery??
So you can't use the memory stick after converting it right? :)
1. Yes
2. you can still use it. but you have to reformat taking away its "magical" powers

ok.. Thanks :)Zitat:

You don't need to reformat the stick. You can use it as normal, without needing to reformat - and therefore you can keep it around in case you need it to unbrick.Zitat:

i'm sure this is a stupid question, but one that i must ask:
i'm charging the pandora battery right now, popped it in, green power light came on, system won't start (no mem card). i just want to charge this thing. i've plugged it in to the ac charger, and the power light turned orange. so, i'm assuming it's charging, but is there anyway to tell when it's at 100%?
The Pandora's Battery wont boot the PSP. If you pop in a regular battery, with your AC plug in, then replace the battery with the Pandora, it will continue to power the PSP while it runs. You can then check the power level of it.
Personally I keep it at full charge and only use it with the AC cord in, so it stays that way. (Always better to flash with a full battery and AC in anyway, I believe)
it's 100% right now. thank you so much!
oh, and btw.. ebgames sells used sony 1st party batteries for $5, or at least the one i went to yesterday did.
hello to all i am a great fanatic of this site
please allow me to join here
thanks to all specially to management
It stops after it checks for special prx's in the eboot on my 2.81. It then flashes the are you sure screen for half a second, then goes to the main screen. I know my battery and memstick are good because I've used them before. So why aren't they working on this 2.81?
WOW WOW ... sweet nice
lol .. saw these dudes off ebay selling them .. i told em off .
lols
OMFG! A great/huge leap for the homebrew scene! Sony is cracked once and for all.

Damn guess I'll have to buy another battery, they are kind of expensive though, anyone know a place in the uk that sells them cheap?
I have just decided to make my orig battery into the Pandora because I am tired of waiting for my spare to arrive, anyway, I have followed the steps to format my mem card etc and gotten to hte point of placing the installer and creator pandora programs on my mem stick, however, something weird is going on:
I am running 3.52 M33-4, if i copy the programs to ms0:\PSP\GAME150 the games do not show up at all in my PSP memory stick menu.
If i rename the exact same directory to "GAME" it works fine (assuming i have homebrew 1.50 set in recovery menu)
Anybody know why GAME150 now doesn't work either with the newly formatted memory card or with these programs, it just doesn't make sense.
I'm not sure... but does it really matter? GAME will do just fine.
It is a little irritating and i'm curious as to the problem, anyway, I copied back my memory card backup with the MEMSTICK.IND and MSTICK_PRO.IND along with my original working PSP\GAME150 and everything works fine again.Zitat:
Zitat von Moose_Island
I don't know if it was something to do with creating the folder manually, or that I did it on Vista? (That's normally the problem, pile of **** OS) or that it needed the .IND files?
Beats me.
does this mean if im going to create a jigkick battery, i should use a psp that is working and it only has the original 1.5 version?because my friend has an orginal 2.71 version OE
No, it doesn't mean that, it can be used on any version.Zitat:

thanks man!Zitat:

If it can run 1.5 homebrew then you can use it to make a "Pandora Battery"....Zitat:

Got a question, I have a TA-079 PSP, and I have successfully used my Pandora Battery for use in other PSP's, and it has downgraded each of them fine so far. But here's the issue, for some reason when I put the battery in the PSP unit it powers the system on right away, even though I know for a fact I chose the Service Mode to modify the original battery. I had also first backed up the eeprom of the battery too.
My question is, why does the battery power the system on when I did not choose the auto-poweron modification method? Thanks for any help on this.
Service Mode also triggers auto power on.Zitat:
Zitat von palyons
Only the normal battery does not do it.
hey the pandora battery can it be use on official 3.51 - 3.52..??
Yes it can But you need a Homebrew enabled psp To make the batteryZitat:
Zitat von seypul
I fyou cant get someone to do it for you you can use the link in my sig
guys, i took my psp to a store and they were using a pandora battery already and all the process works, they say the flash1,2,3 is loading and also the 1.5 but not the "missing thing" they say that they need to do something inside the PSP to somehow refresh the registry...im now stuck on the blue screen of death and when i press o, it just restarts..somehow, there's progress, because before it was really blank, but its still not fixed, what do u think guys?
the other things is, i have toleave the psp for a day without me seeing what will they do with my psp...
