i bricked my psp downgrading from 3.72HE->3.71M33+1.50 Addon. was trying to get the 150 prx to enable homebrew in 3.72HE.
In my infinite wisdom i decided to format flash0 and restore a complete backup of 3.40OE then upgrade to 3.52->3.71+1.50 then back to 3.72HE. Didn't go so well. "Format Failed Read error at track 0 -- or bad media" . Yep, flash0 became RAW and unformatted and kept failing when i tried to format it with a FAT file system, "disk unusable". I Prepared the RECOVERY folder and started it while i was still in the recovery menu but obviously the PSP froze and flatlined. I learned my lesson.
Kids, if u have a working PSP, under no circumstances is it OK to format flash0
I'm gonna start the whole pandora process. From wat i understand, the pandora tool changes the serial number in the battery which allows it to put the PSP into service mode but afterwards, if i choose the option to restore the battery does it rewrite all of the batteries original information/serial number? what else is changed in the battery?
