Try using your working PSP. Do you have the Slim or the Phat?
phat one, so when i did the whole guide, do i just have to put it in the other psp?Originally Posted by cyslim5
Install DDC v5 (and make sure that you have a config.txt present in ms0:/TM otherwise DDC won't load if you are installing it on its own) on a mem stick then place magic mem stick into bricked PSP before placing Pandora's Battery.
do i need to charge the battery before i pandoraize it
It doesn't matter.
Ok i bricked my 1.5 psp so i i used rs psar dumper to dump flash0 and copy pasted the files to flash0 would it unbrick my psp?
Well no, since you are just using the bricked files.
i mean the f0 files which rspsardumper dumped and then copy paste the files in it and paste in my psp's flash0?
Or same problem or different?
No, I don't recommend copying a PSP's flash to a different PSP.
lol i think this PSP has had all its fun. I'm thinking of sending to sony lol
For people looking for an answer to the 0X80020148 issue, if you put the RSPsar Dumper into the X:/PSP/GAME150 folder it will boot as normal, but will notify you to run this in a higher firmware mode. If you set your PSP to boot using the GAME340 folder, (By booting with R held) it gives this error again.
This is while running 3.40 OE-A on a PSP-PHAT.
...Place the RSPSAR Dumper folder into the GAME folder provided the GAME folder has the 3.XX kernel.
This question is in regards to the sentence in BOLD.* Extract the 'RSPsar Dumper v3.2.rar' to your desktop.
* Place the folder named 'RS' in the root of your memory stick.
* Rename the 1.50 EBOOT.PBP to 'EBOOT.PBP'.
* Place 'EBOOT.PBP' in the root of your memory stick ('X:/').
* Create a folder called 'elf' in the root of your memory stick.
* Create a folder called 'kd' in the root of your memory stick.
* Place the folder named 'RSPsarDumper' in 'X:/PSP/GAME/'.
* Run it from GAME > Memory Stick.
* Press square to dump decrypted.
* Toggle USB back on and enter X:/DUMP/F0/kd.
* Copy the following files to the clipboard:
* Browse to X:/kd and paste the above files there.
* Browse to X:/TM/DC5/kd and copy 'resurrection.elf' from there.
* Browse to X:/elf and paste that 'resurrection.elf' there, rename it to 'M33_Installer.elf'.
* Extract the Pandora ELF menu to the desktop.
* Copy the contents of the 'kd' folder inside there to X:/TM/DC5/kd.
That file is not in that folder? Did I miss a step? I went back and "re-dumped" it and the resurrection.elf file was still not there.
Any help would be great. Thanks!
EDIT: I decided to just start the process over and the file was where it should have been. Thank you anyways.

are all pandora batteries the same?
I mean, I had created a pandora battery about a year ago using the current guide on this site (for a phat).
I would now like to use that pandora on a friend's slim. I know I will have to redo the memory stick, but is the pandora battery fine to use?
I that as long as you have the pandora battery you're fine but I think it really depends on the contents of the memory stick.

the link for hellcats pandora installer is dead and i cant find it anywhere else. help?
Your Hellcat's Pandora Installer Revision 3 link need to be updated...
If you remember me xbl me mfmseth
I followed this guide to every instruction and my Slim PSP still booted up as normal. I used a phat PSP with CFW to make the magic stick and pandora's battery, but when I put the Stick and Battery in my PSP (I put the stick in while the PSP was off then inserted the battery while not plugged into the wall) it didn't automatically boot up. If anyone has any tips or reason it didn't work, please PM instead of replying in the topic. Thanks.
the Hellcat's Pandora Installer Revision 3 is broken or dead
thanks for the work guys
[I fail @ life]
I don't want to brick my friends psp so im making sure.
I have a modded phat psp. Can i downgrade his slim psp with my phat psp ?
Yes, you can.
If you ever need me, you can contact me at **********.net.
Yes, you can use a Classic battery in a Slim PSP. Unfortunately, the opposite will not work (a Slim battery in a Classic PSP).
EDIT: Adiuvo, this time you won... this time. ;)
thanks so much guys
Couple of quick noob-questions:
Do I follow this guide when on 4.02 M33? I read somewhere you needed 3.xx kernel, and this guide also mentions 3.xx, think it was in the folder names.
Do I need to follow Part 3 and 4 of the guide if I only intend to use the time machine? What exactly does the DDC thingy do?
Thanks for any answers to my questions ;)
I almost got screwed trying this. But anyways can someone make a guide on how to make a perfect pandora with Vista,4.01 M33-2 ??
I hope this Pandora can be both your normal battery and Pandora.
Thanks for the update of this guide with new link. :)
But since you have changed from Hellcat's Pandora Installer Revision 3 to Hellcat's Pandora Installer Revision 4, and the system is totally different, but the steps are still for rev3, so just wondering can you update the steps for that aswell.
Also I thought rev4 can make DDC and timemachine do you still have to use those seperate program to make the magicstick??
I couldn't follow the part 1 of the tutorial at all. Can you please update it? The link is to download the Pandora Installer revision 4, but the steps and button configuration on the tutorial is for the Pandora Installer Revision 3. In revision 4, pressing circle when the game is launched does nothing.
