i accidentally upgrade my firmware to version 3.95.....Anybody can help me how to downgrade it back coz i cant play my games in memory....thanks in advance...
Well if you have previously been on CFW then you should be pretty familiar with what to do.
Get a pandora battery and make magic memory stick. Read the many guides and ask for help if you get stuck. A few seconds looking wont hurt you.
bytheway, i am not really familiar with this coz wen i bought this for my son its with memory stick already....Its a PSP slim Model 2004...Pls if u can giv me some advices wat to do.....it will help me a lot...tnx so much...
Ahh so bought pre-loaded with custom firmware. Therefore you probably dont have the prerequisites to downgrade on hand.
You need a pandora battery, know if you have one? A normal battery won't do, you can convert a normal battery into a pandora if you have access to a phat psp with custom firmware (Some slims can but not many).
If you dont have one and cant get access to another psp then your next options are. Buy one from say amazon best to have your own in my opinion. Or send your battery and memory stick away free to someone from here.
Once you have a pandora battery sorted PM me or post here and i'll help you with making a magic memory stick. Your memory needs to be over 128mb i think and if its official thats best.
thanks a lot niko86....
i will just PM u if i hav pandora's battery.....
really thanks a lot....
Any confirmation on this...
I have two batteries that cannot be converted to pandora
1 - Original SONY model PSP 110 Li-ion 3.6v 1800 mAh serial on the back: 6104DWG
2 - Original SONY model PSP 280 Li-ion 3.6v 2200 mAh serial on the back: 6321 AWA (on the front gold colored text)
or am i doing something wrong here?
Have Fun :)
If anyone wants the Link for the 0.4 version of Jas0nuk's ELF Menu its:
question about the elf part. there is no resurrection.elf in dc7, so is the elf menu even possible?
This isn't a chatroom, you know. We also have this new technology called "PMs". They're quite useful. They also shouldn't be confused with PMS.

It was the nerd equivalent to watching douchebags crack their nuts over various objects. It was glorious.
Do I need elf menu? All I really want a Pandora for is to be able to easily install the latest firmware and then keep it in case my PSP bricks. (And to my understanding the battery can be my Pandora and my real battery at the same time, I just need to hold a button to get into DC).
Other than elf menu is everything in this guide fine and up to date. I know that DC isn't but in that section I will just use the DC7 guide and not this.
Thanks I will try this on my psp
realy nice gude.it helped me. i finaly made my psp. thx
the PSAR dumper says i need 2.71 kernal but im on like 3.0X M33
It'll work fine regardless.
If you ever need me, you can contact me at **********.net.
It won't let me run the program it says I NEED to be on a kernal higher than 2.71, I feel so stupid, I did this like when it came out but this new way is confusing to me
Im on 3.52 M-33
oopsies didnt know you had to run the psar dumper on 3.52 kernel not 1.5

What up. Quick question.
I myself have a fat psp with custom firmware. However my mom bought a slim psp for my cuz with stock firm 3.95 on it.
Now im reading up that im going to need to create the pandora and magic mem stick to convert it, there a part at the end of the guide that I need clarification on.
It says to press various buttons (ie square for 1.50). Is he going to have to this every time? On my old phat once I left it on the custom firmware, it stayed there until I changed.
Im just wondering if he has to select it everytime he boots up or can he just leave it on custom.
Also with the majic mem stick...does it need to be in the system at all times? Or can he swap mem cards and still have the custom firmware on it.
Thanks. Been a while since I did custom firmware and first time with the slim.
Ok i am VERY new to the homebrew market...so im very noobish and have done lots of research. I can follow the exact steps needed, thats not a problem, im willing to use the battery i have now..
My questions is, in the preparation guide it says you need a homebrewed PSP to do this...but when i go to the guide about how to downgrade your firmware it says you need Pandora....see my conundrum?
So please point me in the right direction, should i just follow this updated guide to the letter..
In short your need a a homebrewed PSP to make Pandora. After than it really simple, just put anything in the unhacked psp and push x and your done.
If you remember me xbl me mfmseth
I can't seem to "pandorize" my batteries. They are both official batteries that came with the PSPs. I click the pandorize option and stick the "finished" MS into the 3.51 PSP along with the battery, hold square (which I have set to load 3.40OE) but it just boots up to the regular XMB....what am I doing wrong?
EDIT: Let me rephrase this. I got the battery to pandorize (I guess) because when I stick the battery into the official FW PSP the green light stays on and nothing happens. When I insert the "fixed" MS I hold down triangle and I boot up into the 3.51 XMB...I don't understand how I am supposed to boot up 3.40OE...I followed the guide to a T TWICE. Any help would be great.

I'm using a phat with a broken display to create a pandora, will it work? Is there anything I need to read?
When I try to run the Pan Installer I get "game could not load". What am I doing wrong?
Has anyone done this by loading up chickHEN first then proceeding with all the steps in the first post? I have a God of War PSP so I know I can put custom firmware on it.
When starting the RSPsarDumper recieve errors that wont load the lib.prx file. Have tried from scratch again and again with same results. Not sure what the issue is. Also when complete whats procedure to install CFW on PSP Slim then.
