Hey guys, I was wondering if this would work. I've got a PSP Fat that is bricked. I'm thinking about buying a PSP 2000 off of Craig's List that already has CFW with it. Could I use the PSP 2000's battery and turn it into a Pandora's battery to unbrick my PSP Fat?

If anyone could answer this for me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

The 2000 battery wont fit into a 1000, and just because it has CFW does not mean that the battery can be pandorized. The question to ask is, Can you pandorize a 1000 battery with a PSP2000. I don't see why that wouldn't work, but I've never heard of anyone trying.

Hey, first off thats for the quick reply. I didn't even think about it that way. What would I hafto find out to see if this was possible or not? Should I find out what firmware the Slim is running on?

Yes it works. Just make sure the contacts are lined up right and you will need to hold it in place the whole time but it will work.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'm going to try and make a Pandora's battery using the PSP 2000...but the battery I'm going to use came from a PSP 1001 model. I'll try to report back on how things turn out.

I've done it for a friend. I put his phat battery in my 2000 and held it in with tape, then I ran Pandora Installer to pandorize his battery, then I put in his MS and ran Desparter del Cementario 8 to make his MS a MMS, took the battery and MMS and unbricked his 1001 model PSP.
