guess this is a question for the more experienced programmers. I was wondering how game sharing works... I'll give you an example of what kind of answer I'm looking for;
- Game runs from UMD
- Game sharing selected
- Game takes a binary and offers it
- Other PSP checks for offer and accepts
- File is transferred to second PSP
- Second PSP reboots and runs the signed binary
If this scenario is correct then I have a second question. How much is the binary that is send through game sharing different from one that runs directly from UMD. Is it the same but just restricted in size and memory usage?
Then the next question would be, is it possible for us to use existing binaries of official games to send through game sharing? And if so, could we make a drastically ripped version of... letís say luminus or GTA LCS to be sent. This version wouldn't have to do much... just get to the menu and be able to start loading a save game.
It was previously stated that Game sharing wasn't an option because it needed signed binaries. So as I'm suggesting here... can't we use existing binaries to send through game sharing.
