Features Id like are:
- Built in camera
- Built in microphone
- Motion sensor
- Built in Harddrive
- Decent ram (Never has enough room to browse the net)
That is what would make me rush out and buy one.
Oh, nearly for got the best feature:
- Built in M33 :D
CD's, DVD's, Blu-ray Disc's, Mini CD's, Mini DVD's and Mini Blu-ray Disc's are all different formats, well the technology of the mediums with similar name are the same, but the medium is different. So i still stand by my point CD's or DVD's even Blu-ray Disc's wont come to the psp EVER.

what i would like for the next gen psp
1. can run homebrew without modding the firmware
How does using mini discs mean they condone piracy? Assuming they start releasing games on mini-dvd's on the next-gen PSP, you think you would just be able to make copies of discs just like that? Of course the discs will be protected, every disc-based console has been like that. That's why you need a modchip for the ps2 to be able to play burned discs, because no commercial burner is able to make a 1-for-1 perfect copy of the original. So by your argument, a ps2 condones piracy because they allow the reading of DVD-R discs.

You may argue but that the memstick can be used legitimately to store other types of data, like music, movies, photos. Well that could also be the same legitimate use for writable discs.
Personally I think that having a CPU means they're condoning piracy. They should just take out the CPU and be done with it.
Don't turn this thread into an argument (or discussion for that matter) about piracy on the PSP. Any future posts that do so will be deleted. This thread has a clear topic, so stick to it please.
i didnt mean the vibration (way to waste batterys) i meant thr controller button setup.

also, maxexcloo, a hard drive would be awful for the psp, it would kill battery life so fast. what they really need to do is just put 8 or 16 g's of flash memory in there(like flash card memory). also, a camera, blue tooth, and touch screen would be nice
but the thing about touch screen is that it needs to be like the ps3's sixaxis. make it usable, but don't make every game require it.
one last thing is it would be cool to have a commercialized motion sensor
I personally love the UMD. It's like a Mini CD/DVD in a protected case. Yes it's more materials and would cost more because of that, but man it's protected. It's like when I first saw 3.5 floppys and though "Now this S@#$ can take a beating!"
Second Nub is the only thing that could convince me to buy a new psp.
other things that would be nice would be:
3. Blue tooth(even if I don't trust it yet)
4. touch screen
5. large memory storage
1. Flash memory around 8gb or more
2. built in mic
5. motion control
What the hell would you need a touchscreen on the PSP for :O
lol play NDS games.

The buttons on the PSP should have a backlight. And the buttons should be colored triangle(green), O(pink).....etc
A better analog stick (more durable and better grip)
Louder speaker(improve it add some bass and stuff like that, my evn2 phone is louder than the PSP.
Carbon Fiber black skin for the PSP
bluetooth, built in mic
A better way to put in UMD
Improve UMD's durability
Build in memory 8GB or more
A better internet browser (firefox :p
more equalizer genre choices
Ok, I have to admit, the carbon fiber would kick ass, lol
Nero's wantings is just what I would want. Throw a nice IR Sensor on there too.
And if it had carbon fiber that would be cool, but a little expensive. A Small exhaust pipe leg cover for my dirt bike costs like 200$+, and its small.
That would be a nice touch, but if everything we want is on the PSP 2 then it would be very expensive, id still buy it though.

if they added another joystick and L2/R2 buttons and made every ps3 game playable through remote play, i would be first in line to buy it. seriously... playing ps3 anywhere in your house would be godly.

those phones are dumb imo. the first has way to many unlabeled buttons, that dont look like they make any sense, and the second doesnt have an analog stick. they seem really big too.

more computing power and RAM
more battery life, ability to unbrick itself, using some read-only place with a recovery firmware or something and a hidden reset button
no stuff to block homebrew and better modding capability (yeah right)
more durability, like using harder plastic or even cermets and scratch-resistant glass
better screen resolution
in-built digital TV receiver
maybe a touch-screen
support for wireless keyboard and mouse
support for other wireless devices, maybe hard drives or something
some kind of anti-theft mechanism, which would make stealing PSP's useless, although it would have to be compatible with the above unbricking
low price :D
Since I've never owned a PS, I don't miss the right stick, shoulder buttons or vibration. The PSP's look is good as it is, I have a phat and I'm happy with it's capabilities, but the device I described would blow anyone's mind away.
low price wtf?
are you insane hehe lol you need a keggilion dollars to buy that thus costumers wont buy it until a price cut like the ps3
Phones use solid-state storage, it doesn't matter if they get shaken around.

What I'd like to see is a return of the proper UMD-tray that the phat PSP had. I don't like the lack of tray in the Slim.
I'd want the Metal Gear PSP. Mobile missile launch from anywhere in the world :)
an addon for a phone
built in memory for game saves
