Because I don't think there will be a downgrader released soon I thaught about alternatives.
Please don't flame me if it isn't possible, I'm just speculating...
As far as I understand, it would be theoretically possible to start homebrew on 1.52 and 2.0 if you use the right 128-Bit RSA key to encrypt the program.
A 'normal' workstation would need years to find the right key (if even possible), so this seems to be no option.
But what about a system like Seti@Home? In this way the whole PSP scene could help to hack it and maybe it's possible to find the key in a few weeks.
If we use a legit key to encrypt our software, even Sony wouldn't be able to stop homebrewing with future updates, because it wouldn't be a hack - it's just regulary encrypted code.
As I mentioned, I don't know if it's possible and for myself I can't code it anyways...it's just an idea!
What do you think?
