I imagine homebrew for 2.00 wouldn't be much longer. It seems to me that there are TONS of people working on this project.
One being PSPCaliber, and others who are claiming to do the same, but may only turn out to be scammers, and fakers. Also, with SonyXtreme, separated from WAB, being added to the scene, who can say what else we might see for the PSP homebrew scene.
But I really need a strait answer here. I've heard lies, rumors, nonsense, and nothing but complete and utter BS. I want to believe PSPCaliber (or someone who is trustworthy) will make a working app for PSP 2.00. However, with Yoshi's new project, it seems to go just as far as PSPCaliber's WIP. In Yoshi's new Burnout eboot, After the PSP logo screen, only it shows the error, cannot load game screen.
Maybe before anyone starts making games for 2.00, we should try concentrating cracking the main firmware, to make sure we get the main structure down. At least some proof that 2.00 homwbrew can really be done, and maybe not incomplete works.
Come on people. I KNOW it must be possible to crack 2.00, somehow. I heard at one point people said it was impossible to crack PSP's 1.50 firmware. Well, look at the scene now. Thee are TONS of things you can use for 1.50. I want the same thing to happen to PSP's with 2.00. I wish the best of luck to anyone who can make a complete and working app project for 2.00 (That's NOT html based). :)
Though, I am mostly interested in looking for a homebrew for #.## firmware converter, that will allow you to convert any homebrew app to work on any firmware (Includes 1.00, 1.50, and 2.00). However, I am aware that it may not be possible for this to happen until 2.00 has been fully cracked frpom the top to the bottom. Though it would be nice for this to happen eventually, so I would be able to finally play my favorite homebrew game on my PSP 2.00. But since it only works for 1.00 and 1.50 ATM, I'm very sad to have a PSP 2.00 until this firmware is cracked.
Right now, I only have 3 games for ym PSP, and I am already bored with them.
So then, I guess I can only assume that only time well tell, when we finally see the light for 2.00 homebrew software. Though I really hope we see some real motion, real action, real news going on with cracking 2.00, making explots, & 2.00 homebrew progress within the next few days. :)
No, I am NOT trading my PSP 2.00 for a PSP 1.50. I want to keep my 2.00 PSP for the time being, assuming that homebrew for 2.00 will eventually be possible within the next few months, if not weeks, if not days. :)
