As we get closer to homebrew apps for 2.00 FW, I wonder, how will someone get SmashGP to work on 2.00 FW?
What I'm thinking is. If the buffer overflow method only let us use 64KB, I doubt that will be enough. Unless someone makes a hack that uses the overflow method, but can somehow increase the 64KB into a larger value.
Maybe perhaps someone can make a 64KB homebrew app, that can crack, or remove the eboot app security code check, that will be able to let us run any unlicensed eboot programs via memory stick option?
The only other method I can think of is, if someone finds another exploit in the Memory stick option to actually run game eboots that worked on 1.00 or 1.50 PSP's without having to mess with the buffer overflow exploit method. ;)
As we see more homebrew progress every day, or every other day, I hope that someone finds more ways, or more possibilities to use homebrew, and perhaps memory stick option homebrew on 2.00 with a security disabling method. :)
