Anyone know if it would be possible to write a background app that keeps running after returning to the menus that will accept commands over USB and in response to those commands set the input (pad) state accordingly? I know that you can read the state (normal input processing), but can it be set?
If this could work, we could use PS2 -> USB adapters to the PC, and PSP mini-usb cable from PC to PSP in order to use a PS2 controller instead of the PSP face buttons/d-pad. I would like to have this option as the logitech case can be inverted to double as a stand, and I know for games like SF Alpha 3 I'm going to wish I had a better controller (d-pad in particular)...
