Smile Can you use the PSP as a mini second PC monitor?

I was thinking as my PSP sits in a cradle under the PC screen when I'm not playing, can it be used as a mini second monitor? To display some widgets, Winamp playlist, or a CPU monitor etc...

I tried searching but couldn't find any topics about this myself at least. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

There's a program that can do that but, I don't remember the name. Someone else will hopefully know it. Sorry.

pVNC is semi unstable (random disconnects) and is used to remote control your computer, not use it as a second monitor. It only shows a portion of it.

Thanks.

Ah that's a shame. With mini screens on fan monitors and now on keyboards (the Logitech one) it seems an extra mini display for stats is becoming more popular.

Well, there is a program somewhere that displays your screen on the side where the PSP views in 480X272 Pixels (The PSP's resolution.).

There is? Oh, am I misunderstanding or is that perfect? It would be like having a 2nd monitor for your PC at 480x272 resolution?

Thanks!

pVNC isnt unstable at all

though saying that, you shouldn't stray too far away from the router

i just wish VNC in general would be able to cope with faster refresh rates, thus enabling us to view video on screen

the only way i can view any video using pVNC is by essentially making my media player lag. a lot.
